2023 Feng Shui Chinese animal predictions

This year, 2023 will bring the year of the Yin Water Rabbit and will bring a fresh breath of energy for all of the twelve Chinese animals, giving them a chance to make the year ahead a better one than the last.

Some of the Chinese animals will face more challenges than others in the year of the Rabbit although when they are aware of potential obstacles, they can avoid and overcome many of the issues that could come their way and turn them into promising opportunities and victories.

Over the last three years, COVID lockdowns have caused a lot of people to take on home and business improvement tasks around the home, garden and office, and this impacted the Feng Shui of a home or business, although with the new energy crisis most of us are faced with, more people are returning to work to save on heating costs at home so yet again we are seeing a shift on how we are living our lives, and this will again have an impact on the Feng Shui of your home and office as human beings in a building create qi energy and this affects the whole outlook of the year and extraordinary cures and enhancers are needed in 2023.

Personally, I am hopeful as yin water years will bring significant advancements in technologies and medicine, and I think we will see substantial developments in medicine and alternative energy; However, we may also see power struggles throughout the world with world leaders flexing their muscles, but on a positive note, I see this blowing over as fast as it started. I am hopeful that we will see a resolution in Ukraine in 2023.

Last year, the Monkey was the conflict animal for the year of the tiger, and I am sure that there will be Monkeys who will be eagerly awaiting the year of the Rabbit to begin on the 22nd of January, although I know many Monkeys that enjoyed a fantastic year of the Tiger as they were prepared early with regards to the Flying Star (Xuan Kong) recommendations and also their animal prediction for the year ahead.

With the last few years bringing so many obstacles and the effects of COVID still not going away any time soon, we will all likely face extra challenges during the Rabbit year with the current cost of living crisis in many countries. Finances will need to be monitored closely for most animals, although with some care and attention, this can easily be overcome. To fully make the most of what the year of the Rabbit can bring into your life, the best advice I can give is to prepare early, as although the Flying stars don’t change until the 4th of February, you would be surprised how quickly it comes around.

What is the conflict Chinese Zodiac animal for 2023 in the year of the Rabbit (Gui Mao)?

Feng Shui Chinese Animals secret friends

Chinese animal conflict animal RoosterThose born in the year of the Rooster could be affected by the conflicting influences of the year of the Rabbit as the Rooster is the conflict animal of the Rabbit and those born in 1921, 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005 and 2017 will need to be more careful during 2023 as the influence of the Rabbit year will bring challenges into their life. However, they still have endless opportunities to make the Rabbit year a successful and enjoyable one.

When we enter the year of the Rabbit on the 4th of February 2023, it is vital that we have our annual Cures and Enhancers in place in our home and workplace to make 2023 as prosperous and enjoyable as it can be for each of the twelve Chinese animals and enhance their luck in all areas of their life.

To find your animal sign, check the charts below. If you were born before February 4th (Spring Begins), use the year before. If it is after February 4th, then use the same birth year. This is worth double-checking, as you would be amazed at how many people born in January or February get it wrong.

If you are unsure of your Chinese Animal, maybe consider using our Feng Shui software that calculates it automatically along with personal Gua, flying stars, annual, fixed and monthly, and so much more.

Some examples:
Born 3rd February 1958 = Rooster
Born 5th February 1958 = Dog
Born 3rd February 1987 = Tiger
Born 5th February 1987 = Rabbit

What year would I have to be born to be a Rooster?

The cycle of Chinese animals comes back around every twelve years, and for your Chinese animal to be the Rooster, you would have to be born in the following years:

4th Feb 2017 – 3rd Feb 2018
4th Feb 2005 – 3rd Feb 2006
4th Feb 1993 – 3rd Feb 1994
4th Feb 1981 – 3rd Feb 1982
4th Feb 1969 – 3rd Feb 1970
4th Feb 1957 – 3rd Feb 1958
4th Feb 1945 – 3rd Feb 1946
4th Feb 1933 – 3rd Feb 1934
4th Feb 1921 – 3rd Feb 1922
4th Feb 1909 – 3rd Feb 1910

Although the Rooster is the conflict animal for the Rabbit year, please do not start panicking if your Chinese animal is the Rooster as there is a great deal that can be done to still make 2023 a really successful year.

Is Chinese astrology the same as western astrology?

Northern and Southern Hemisphere

Chinese and western astrology are similar in some ways although overall, they are two very different practises and should not be read in the same way. Chinese astrology is the practice of placing Feng Shui cures and enhancers in your home, office, shop or any building that you spend time in to make sure that the positive influences are enhanced and the negative influences are weakened or destroyed, helping you make the most of your life and balance the energy in the building.

The Flying stars present in a home and work place have the power to bring a tremendous amount of luck and fortune to the occupants although they also have the power to bring misfortune and issues, which is why it is so important to create a good balance for 2023. Having the annual #9 star fall into a bedroom or office in the north in 2023 is considered very lucky although if you were to have water colours in here, this would actually destroy the auspicious energy of the annual star and turn good into bad. Chinese astrology is also about knowing how the year ahead could turn out and what you should be aware of in your life for the year according to the Chinese Animals.

Once we know what could take place in the year ahead, we have a huge advantage as we can take steps early on to ensure any potential problems can be lessened and even avoided

What can I do to make the year of the Rabbit 2023 as successful as possible?

Stop waiting for Friday, for summer, for someone to fall in love with you, for life. Happiness is achieved when you stop waiting for it and make the most of the moment you are in now.”

Flying Stars Feng Shui 2023

I say this every year but the best thing you can do to ensure that the year of the Rabbit is a smooth sailing and rewarding one is to start preparing as early as possible as this will allow you to make sure that everything is taken care of. We receive thousands of emails on the week of Chinese New Year asking if it is too late to prepare and although you can place your annual Cures and Enhancers at any point of the year, it is always best to get them in place for the beginning of the Chinese New Year when the Flying stars change over on the 4th of February 2023 as this will give you the best chance for the year ahead.

Another very powerful tool to have in the year of the Rabbit is the 2023 Flying Star Analysis. If your Chinese animal is going to face some problems this year, you can use the Flying stars to enhance or cure the areas that will affect the areas of your life that will require more care in the Rabbit year.

Other Feng Shui websites have said that all Rooster will lose suffer horribly in 2023; is this accurate?

I get a lot of emails from people with links to another Feng Shui website where they predict extreme doom and gloom for certain animals in the year ahead and although there can be some truth to this, you will usually notice that their write up for the animal prediction is very short and they not really give you any real life solutions to the issues they are predicting. We are on online Feng Shui Store and although we sell cures, I will always go out of my way to provide free advice and alternatives so that people from all walks of life can benefit from the good that Feng Shui can bring.

Certain Chinese animals will have it harder than others during the year of the Rooster and 2023 will certainly come with it’s challenges for the Rooster as this is the conflict animal for the year although there is nothing stopping them from making this an extremely successful and enjoyable year.

We have been writing Chinese Animal predictions for over twenty-three years, and while we always state the facts, we will always offer a solution to any problems that may arise. Please take the advice that you read with a pinch of salt and have a fantastic year of Rooster.
