What do we do with this information?

In every building, there are good and bad palaces which affect our daily lives. How and who gets affected (good or bad) depends on who occupies which area of the home or business. The best Cure is to be aware of the influences each month and know how to capitalise on the beneficial energies or avoid the unfavourable influences either through enhancers or cures or avoidance. Knowing the effects of the influences allows us to take appropriate measures and actions to calm interactions.

So, do not get too worried when you come across a particularly bad sector – sometimes with thought, care and the appropriate elements, we can balance any conflict of energies or compensate the lack of an element to bring harmony to a palace. If a palace is particularly bad, avoidance is the best cure. Please do not panic when you find that your bedroom is located in an affected sector for the month. This is only a temporary influence and can be avoided.

• Use the beneficial areas more and the areas of negative influences less. For example, if the living room is affected by conflicting energies, try not to play loud music in this room for the month. By keeping the area quiet, you successfully manipulate the effect of the energies.
• If possible, use another door if your main door is affected this month.
• Use the good sectors to solve existing problems whether they concern relationships or money matters.

If your main door is affected and this is the only door you have in your property, you should take extra care in what you do during the affected month. You will know it may not be a good time to take risks and also to take extra care of your health.

Xuan Kong Flying Stars July 2018:

From 7th July 2018 to 6th August 2018 is the sixth month Ji Wei (Yin Earth Goat) of the Wu Xu year (Yang Earth Dog) with the ruling energy of #9 in the central grid and all stars lined up with the annual stars.

For the Flying Star analysis for July 2018, I have copied the write up for the annual stars as we have double energies in each area as the monthly and annual stars match up with each other.

If you have your annual cures and enhancers in place for 2018, you do not need to do anything for July.

Kan 1 White In 2018 resides in the northwest

Kan #1 is a water element. In the physical body it is the ear. Internal organ it is the kidneys and it is also blood. It also affects career and luck.

From the 4^th February 2018, the annual #1 Kan (Tan Lang) water star has flown in to the northwest of every home and office all around the world. The northwest has inherent metal energy and there is a nice relationship between the two stars from a five elements point of view when metal meets water. The northwest is a lovely area for the eldest male of a home or business in 2018 although also fortunate for all males. The northwest is a wonderful area on the whole although we also have Tai Sui located here for the year and it is vital that this area is treated with peace and quiet along with the necessary Cures and Enhancers for 2018.

If your home or office has a front door in the northwest in 2018, it is very important that you do not slam the door as loud noises can activate the maleficent effects of Tai Sui. You must also aim to avoid any internal doors or windows being slammed in this area during 2018 and avoid digging or renovating your property in this area at all costs; if you have no option but to undergo heavy work this year, please make sure that you follow the advice below and also have the relevant cures in place. The traditional method to appease Tai Sui is to place a Jiang Wu Tai Sui Plaque along with an Arowana fish sitting on a bed of coins to pay respect and appease the deity. By paying respect to Tai sui, you can avoid the problems that are prevalent with this annual affliction. These are two key cures for the northwest in 2018 although please do not worry if you cannot afford these; there are a lot of other options you can implement to weaken the troubles that Tai sui can bring.

Nearly every year, you will come across a sector in your home with a fortunate annual star which suffers from one of the annual afflictions although if you are careful and do not make too much noise in the northwest this year, you can still benefit from the lovely influence that the annual #1 can bring to the northwest in 2018. Once you have your Jiang Wu Tai Sui plaque in place, you can attract new wealth and protect existing wealth by placing an Arowana fish sitting on a bed of coins which can bring all of the positive energy from the visiting star.

I would really recommend placing a Tai Sui plaque in the northwest during 2018 at the least as it is such a shame to have such a lovely area with the potential of Tai Sui ruining the positive influence in the northwest this year. Kun 2 Black In 2018, the Kun 2 Black visits the west

We have the annual #2 menacing star enter the west in 2018 and this makes the area temperamental and unstable although with the placement of some powerful cures and enhancers along with some select colour choices, we can weaken the effects and make the most of this area for the year. When the #2 earth star falls in to the west which is inherently the #7 metal star, both of these stars are actually harmonious with each other and although both are negative stars, we can use this to our advantage and weaken the negative influences of this area. If you have a bedroom, office, lounge or other room that is used a lot in the west in 2018 and you are not able to avoid this area, please read the advice below carefully.

If you have a bathroom, spare room, or storage space in the west of your home or office, this is very good news as this area will not have as much foot traffic or noise. The west of Michael and Jo’s home is home to their master bedroom and living room so I know that they will definitely have their cures and enhancers in place from the 4^th February to avoid problems.

If your front door, bedroom, office, lounge or other well-used room is located in the west this will inevitably activate its malicious effects, so read on…

We have the #2 star visiting the west #7 palace and when we see 2 & 7 together the potential of fires is strong so please take the time to check all of your smoke alarms and do not take any risks with candles or open fires in this area in 2018, especially if you decide not to implement any of the recommendations I have suggested below.

This star will affect the health of those under its influence and can bring problems relating to wealth, illness, disease, stress, back stabbing and overall bad luck so please take this advice seriously and do not leave the west and see what happens this year. This is especially so for people who are a Gua #1, 3 or 4. For the west in 2018, I would recommend placing a Guanshiyin Protection bell, salt water cure and six Chinese coins tied with red ribbon. You should also place metal cures such as a Wu Lou, metal singing bowl and many more providing they are not menacing looking; a round, smooth metal shape is the best option to dissipate its negative influence in the west of your home or office in 2018. You should avoid pointy or sharp shapes in the west in 2018.

The Guanshiyin Protection bell is one of the most protective cures you can use and is a powerful cure for the #2 star in the west. If you are suffering from an illness you would place this beside your bed, for study, creativity and business place on your desk.

A statue of Tsai Shen Yeh (God of wealth) in a gold colour is very effective at not only reducing the bad earth but by also protecting your wealth for 2018. Make sure that you do not have any red coloured decorations in the west this year and avid burning candles here this year. Be very careful in June 2018 as the west is at its worst then.

Do not decorate your room with any fire colours this year such as reds, oranges, purples, burgundy, lilac or pinks as this will aggravate the #2 star. You should also avoid burning candles in the west this year.

Do not activate this area with loud noises, keep quiet and avoid building work or refurbishment although it is not too bad. Do not use the fire element or colours red, pink or purple. • You do not need all Dragons and bells, you can use any metal ornament as long as it is not sharp or aggressive looking, and believe it or not a good cure is a round metal dog bowl or weight lifters weights.
• Hang six Chinese coins tied in red ribbon.
• A brass wealth ingot is good for protecting wealth.
• Place a gold coloured three legged Toad with an i-ching coin underneath.
• Place a Wu Lou and/or other metal ornaments to dissipate the negative earth.
• A metal singing bowl is very good as is a stainless steel Dog bowl.
• Avoid using red colour in this room and refrain from displaying triangle shape or fiery pictures.
• Avoid candles or bright lights at all costs. Check or upgrade smoke alarms and other fire prevention methods.

Chen 3 Jade In 2018, the sound of the sound of Lu Chun #3 Jade can be heard in the northeast palace in 2018

The northeast is not a nice area in 2018 and it is important that you are aware that there is risk of possible thefts, arguments, disputes, loss of wealth, legal problems and hot tempers and this is especially the case if you have a main door or important room in the northeast in 2018. Over the years, I have come across books and websites recommending that you should place water where the annual #3 star is located for the year and I can tell you now, to do this can bring arguments, wealth issues, divorce and legal problems in to your life; unless you take your land formations, period, mountain and water stars in to account, please be very careful. I am not saying these people are wrong to recommend placing water; I am saying that you should have a good understanding of the Flying Stars in your home or office before using such a powerful enhancer on a known unbalanced star at this particular time in the twenty-year cycle.

It is important that you make sure that any documents that you sign during 2018 are thoroughly checked over before agreeing to anything as the energy that the annual #3 brings to the northeast in 2018 can denote arguments, disagreements and even lawsuits. • Use blue in your décor if this is your office or bedroom.

• Avoid displaying too much metal objects here especially large heavy ornaments.

• Fresh flowers or small pots of green leafy or flowering plants can be displayed in this spot of the house to lift the qi. Blue or green flowers are a good choice.

The north is heavily afflicted in 2018 as we have the annual #5 earth star visiting the north with the #1 inherent water energy and when this combination meets up, this can be very destructive and cause wealth losses and bad luck which is why special cures and enhancers are extremely important this year for the north. You should not disturb the ground by digging holes, build foundations or conduct any maintenance work with any loud equipment in the areas inside or outside your property or garden.

If you have no option but to perform work in the north, I would advise that you place a six hollow rod metal wind chime along with six Chinese I-Ching coins and a salt water cure in the north during 2018. This advice is important as it’s the worst of all the annual afflictions due to both the Three Killings and the Annual Five Star is located in the same area in 2018. We take this very seriously at the Feng Shui Store as we’ve seen some pretty nasty events over the past 37 years when this energy has been disturbed.

All of the advice I have given on this website over the last nineteen years has always come straight from the heart and I always try to write the same way I would when recommend something to a friend with every good intention and in 2018, it really is vital that you place the following items below in the north. If you do not want to place these cures or cannot afford them, please do not panic as there is still a lot you can do to weaken the influence present in the north this year. Introduce plenty of good quality metal in to the north of your home or office this year and make sure any metal cures that you have from previous year are cleansed before the 4^th February 2018. Good shapes are items made from metal that are round, even a stainless-steel dog bowl is a good cure. Do not disturb its position here with noisy activities, renovations or maintenance work. Houses with gardens to this corner of the property should avoid disturbing the ground with major digging or building work in the north in 2018.

The 5 Yellow also called ‘Wu Huang or Lian Zhen)‘ in Chinese, is one of the bad annual afflictions. It is a very volatile star. It has no gender and no trigram and is highly dangerous when disturbed. When disturbed, its malevolent influence brings disaster, sickness, lawsuits and major loss of wealth. Do be careful with it. Stillness together with metal cures can keep its negative influences at bay.
