Kan #1 is a water element. In the physical body it is the ear. Internal organ it is the kidneys and it is also blood. It also affects career and luck.

From the 4^th February 2018, the annual #1 Kan (Tan Lang) water star has flown in to the northwest of every home and office all around the world. The northwest has inherent metal energy and there is a nice relationship between the two stars from a five elements point of view when metal meets water. The northwest is a lovely area for the eldest male of a home or business in 2018 although also fortunate for all males. The northwest is a wonderful area on the whole although we also have Tai Sui located here for the year and it is vital that this area is treated with peace and quiet along with the necessary Cures and Enhancers for 2018.

If your home or office has a front door in the northwest in 2018, it is very important that you do not slam the door as loud noises can activate the maleficent effects of Tai Sui. You must also aim to avoid any internal doors or windows being slammed in this area during 2018 and avoid digging or renovating your property in this area at all costs; if you have no option but to undergo heavy work this year, please make sure that you follow the advice below and also have the relevant cures in place. The traditional method to appease Tai Sui is to place a Jiang Wu Tai Sui Plaque along with an Arowana fish sitting on a bed of coins to pay respect and appease the deity. By paying respect to Tai sui, you can avoid the problems that are prevalent with this annual affliction. These are two key cures for the northwest in 2018 although please do not worry if you cannot afford these; there are a lot of other options you can implement to weaken the troubles that Tai sui can bring.

Nearly every year, you will come across a sector in your home with a fortunate annual star which suffers from one of the annual afflictions although if you are careful and do not make too much noise in the northwest this year, you can still benefit from the lovely influence that the annual #1 can bring to the northwest in 2018. I would really recommend placing a Tai Sui plaque in the northwest during 2018 at the least as it is such a shame to have such a lovely area with the potential of Tai Sui ruining the positive influence in the northwest this year.
