I have been counting back in 12 year cycles and indeed every 12 years I have an especially bad year. I’m sorry to hear you have had bad years during a Pig year. I would recommend going through the 2019 Flying star analysis and make sure you are prepared for the year ahead.

4 is not good in a house number although the solution is to purchase a round door sign and make sure the number is inside the sign as shown in the picture on the link below. If you display the number in a round sign, this should not cause problems. Good luck in your new house if you decide to go for it!

Can you please clarify on the use of a 9 square grid imposed on the floor plans and the radial grids created by software? Which one is best to follow? because some the part of the house that falls on radial grids are different when using the 9 grid squares.

Both are used to give you an idea of the different sectors and are not 100% accurate although I prefer to use the ba gua grid (radial grid) as this is more accurate.

Hi Michael and Daniel, I am temporarily living in a Period 3 house. Do I use the original Period 3 bagua grid over the house or do I use a Period 8 grid because I have just moved into the house? I am totally confused by this aspect of the Flying Stars as I have previously read that houses that were built in earlier Periods to the current Period 8, should be renovated to bring them up to date. I cannot afford to make major changes to the house especially as I am living her on a temporary basis, however I do not want to activate areas that should not be disturbed.
Any help or advise on this subject would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Jo,
You would still class this as a period 3 home and calculate the Flying Stars for a period 3 home.
To change a period 3 home to a period 8 home, you would need to replace the majority of the roof and let the top floor see moonlight and sunlight and obviously, this is not something you would do with a temporary home.
I’d treat this as a period 3 home and calculate the stars accordingly, Jo.

Hi Michael & Daniel, I really am sorry to bother you but I need help! I have recently moved into a house where the front door faces NW. It is a terraced house and the front door is in the left hand corner of the front of the house looking out. I am having a real problem placing the bagua grid over the plan of the house to place my cures etc for the year.
I do not know whether to place the grid with NW at the door (far left of house) or with NW in the middle of the grid as the house faces NW? I have all my cures and enhancers in situ but I am starting to fear that I have everything in the wrong place because things are going badly at a rapid rate!
I realise I have not explained that very clearly and I apologise for adding to the confusion! My previous house faced East and the front door was in the middle of the house so it was straightforward placing the bagua grid but now I am totally lost and very concerned that all cures and enhancers are in the wrong places!
I really would appreciate any help at all!

In Feng Shui, there are two New Years – we have the Lunar New Year (16th February) which is when Chinese New Year is celebrated and the Solar New Year (February 4th) which is when the annual Flying Stars change over.

I would activate your Peach Blossom which is your 15 degree auspicious area. You need to place a certain amount of flowers in this area at a certain at a certain time. If you have already had an online report from us or own the software, this will tell you how to activate this.

I have unsuccessfully able to activate my software. Initially it was working but stopped working after 2 weeks and since then I have been unsuccessful to re-active. Support is hopeless because I have sent many request and seems to disappear in thin air without any acknowledgement or even solution. This is very frustrating and if I cannot get support or product activated soon, I will want my money back.

The best place for a Christmas tree this year is in the north and the southwest, west and northeast is also a good area.

I have your feng shui software 3.0 and it is coming up with different flying stars for the 2014 chinese new year. I am getting flying star 1 in the North and not the SW as outlined on your website and so on with the other stars. The date entered on the flying stars detail page is 1/2/2014.
