You would be amazed at the number of consultations that we have been to and found the occupants have either been told by a practitioner or read a book advising to place a Ba Gua (Pa Kua) (pronounced ‘bah-gwa’) mirror inside their home to make their bathroom disappear or some similar nonsense, what a load of codswallop. I cannot stress this enough, NEVER use a Ba Gua inside a home or office.

I don’t care who has told you and how they have justified it. You must never ever use them indoors. There are circumstances that you can use them, they are special ones that you should not find on any website, we sell them, but only to trained Feng Shui Masters and Practitioners.

The ones that we sell to the public are “before heaven” Ba Gua (see below) these can only be used outdoors, they show the Trigram with three unbroken lines at the top and they come with a hook so you cannot go wrong in placement. Be careful when buying as we have seen the arrangement completely wrong and this can be very dangerous.

We also only sell wooden with a thin transfer on the facing side as they will show signs of wear which is an indication that the negative energy they have absorbed has weakened them and an indication that they need to be replaced although plastic and metal ones will not do this as they will cause more harm than good in the long run so always use wooden Ba Gua’s and avoid plastic and metal or similar material.

The one you use inside a building are after-heaven Ba Gua, the arrangement of the Trigrams are completely different and can only be used by a trained Feng Shui practitioner.

Before Heaven Ba Gua Mirror to be used outside only.

When should I use a Ba Gua(Pa Kua) mirror?

As I said if you already have one make sure the three solid lines are at the top. They are used to ward off sharp or pointing objects such as traffic, lampposts, objects pointing towards your home, roadway pointing at your home, corners of other houses pointing at you or anything that you feel is threatening.

Generally, they are placed above or close to your front door or facing the side of your home they can be hidden behind an object if you do not fancy explaining to neighbours or friends what it is. You should not have more than two; the front and back are normal. They are used to deflect negative energy (Sha Chi)

The Ba Gua is extremely powerful and should be used with care and also respect for others, as when you hang one they deflect the bad energy onto the offending object. I have read books and websites that sell these recommending that they place them to deflect bad energy towards a bad neighbour, remember when you do this you make their situation twice as bad and trust me Karma works in mysterious ways.

Michael recently carried out a consultation for a Chinese restaurant in Kent and the Ba Gua across the road from one of their Chinese competitors was about 5 feet in size, now that is big, the average size is 4-6 inches. In Asia there are many tactics used to compete with other businesses, these can be a Ba Gua mirror with pointing arrows on it or a cannon, this will give very bad energy to the company it is pointing at.

Examples of negative energy (sha chi) that you may use a ba gua mirror:

  • A large building or corners of a building especially if they are a negative building such as a prison, hospital, police station, military base, animal research centre, government building or similar.
  • Electric power pylons
  • A T-junction where the road points towards the home or office.
  • Very large trees that are too close to a building
  • A telegraph pole or any sort of tower.
  • Slaughterhouses and meat processing factories
  • Unsightly structures or landscapes in front of your home or business.
  • An electrical station or sub-station opposite your home or business.
  • A graveyard, cemetery, mortuary or undertakers opposite your home or office.
  • Generally, schools are ok although some upper schools with a bad reputation (mixed hormones) can give a lot of negative sha qi and I would place a flat ba gua mirror pointing towards the school although if they cause you no problems at all I would not use one.

Red, green and gold Ba Gua mirrors

The flat ba gua mirrors we sell will always have the colours red, green and gold and In Feng Shui, each colour is representative of different energies;

  • Red – Represents the summer, illumination and growth.
  • Gold – Represents late summer, growth, productivity and success.
  • Green – Represents spring, inspiration and strength.

Concave ba gua Mirrors

The concave ba gua mirror (bowed inwardly) is used to neutralise and absorb negative energies passively rather than reflecting the energies back, as is the case with flat mirrors (neutral) or more aggressively convex mirrors. A concave and flat ba gua is an effective and more humane way to disperse harmful energies sha qi without harming those around us. The concave mirror is also used to bring in positive energy from maybe a junior school or any other positive energy building or landscape, either way, you should really seek advice from a Feng Shui Master or consultant.

Convex Ba gua Mirrors

These are more effective for extremely harmful cha qi like prisons, hospitals and graveyards and you should not use these for normal house neighbours as it can make their situation much worse. Convex (bowed outwards) ba gua mirrors are best used with the supervision of a good Feng Shui master and it is very rare that Michael Hanna would use one of these as it in his words “it is like cracking a walnut with a sledgehammer”

Ba Gua mirrors are one of the most popular Feng Shui symbols of protection and are often referred to as the antibiotic of Feng Shui. In some Feng Shui schools, it may also be referred to as a Pa Kua mirror and they are one of the most effective all-round cures that can be used to protect your home.

FlatBa gua Mirrors

These are by far the safest to use and are a very effective Feng Shui cure normally placed above your door looking onto the offending object although they can be placed in any part of the building. If you are not sure which type of mirror to use it is much safer to use the flat type.

As with all our products they are cleansed from negative energy and empowered with positive energy, this is especially important with a Ba Gua mirror.

  1. Hi Daniel,

I just got a small size “blessed” bagua and i hung it on my office partition facing directly at the door of my boss room.

Do I need to remove it at the soonest?

    Regards.

    1. Hi How,

I would remove the Ba Gua mirror as soon as possible as this should not be placed inside the building. If you wanted to make use of it, you could place it above your front door on the outside of your office or home.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  2. Hello. First let me thank you for all of this fabulous information.
We live in a townhome community. Directly in front of our entrance there is a large spruce tree (tip of triangle) and then a birch tree, and a light post that form a triangle.
I read that these “poison arrows” can cause blood disorders and family disharmony. The last owner died of a rare blood cancer. I sent my husband to buy a concave Bagua but the lady at the store insisted we needed a convex one. I don’t want to send bad energy out. Could you please clarify?
    Thank you in advance.

    1. Hi Joy,

Thank you for your kind words!

I would say that the trees outside your home do not justify using a convex mirror as this is commonly used on a prison or hospital.

A concave or flat Ba Gua mirror will be fine to use for the trees and light post.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  3. dissolve bad energy due to a 3 door in a row because my front door I see the entrance to the living room overlooking the door of the kitchen so my dilemma is double because I have no entry strictly speaking and I have 3 wallets. my house is in land element (2) with a rectangle base and a kitchen extension / laundry / toilet s on the ground floor (30m2) in a right triangle which means that there is missing area on the floor how to remedy a these two errors: the 3 doors of aisle and the missing areas on the floor

    1. Hi Flor,

To fill a missing area, you would place a large boulder or very large plant pot where the missing point would be. If you have a missing home, you would not suffer from any bad stars that may be located in this area but would also not benefit from any auspicious stars.

For the three doors, I would try placing some furniture or screens in between the doors to slow the flow of energy.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  4. Hi,

I live in a terraced house with two negative neighbours on either side. One family constantly swear, argue and also direct it at us, the other family have guests and play loud music up till early hours in the morning and sit in their garden and speak very negatively, obsecenely about myself and family and another neighbour so that we can hear.

I would like to place a bagua mirror outside above or aside both my front door and back door to offset the negative talk. Can you please advise me what mirror to get and where to place it inconspicuously. If I place it in front of a plant will I need another plant either side to balance it? I live in a terracde house so cannot fit it in due to a party wall.

I do not want any confrontation just peace. Several years ago friends of some neighbours decided to throw a petrol bomb through my house and another neighbour of colour. Most neighbours were fine except for one serious outcome. I’ve heard some friends of the loud nieghbours say they will “deal with me” because I dissaprove of the loudness at night. I may be reaching but this is in the back of my mind as they have similar charateristics.

Any advise would be very much appreciated

    Thanks
    Don

    1. Hi Don,

Sorry for the late reply; I have just seen this in the bin folder for some reason.

Sorry to hear you are having problems with your neighbours. I would recommend placing a Ba Gua wealth protection mirror as this is the safest to use. I would make sure you place it outside pointing towards the problem neighbours; this can be hidden a bit but I would not cover it completely.

I’m so sorry to hear you are being attacked in such a nasty way. Another option for neighbours with intentions this bad would be to point a model cannon towards their home although this should only be used as a last resort.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  5. Hi there!

I’m a city dweller in a teeny studio. My front entrance faces the door to a stairwell exit (one that is rarely used, and very neat looking otherwise). Are there any potential issues with this? My bigger concern is that the ‘back’ ‘door’ which has full glass sliding doors faces a slab of grey dreary looking concrete (I’m on the lower level of a high rise building with a completely uncovered patio are that is walled off by this grey ugly concrete that reaches just above the height of my sliding doors). The one benefit of this is that I have the rare chance of cultivating a ‘urban farm’ on my patio sufficient to provide almost all the veggies I need, but I’m worried about how this slab of concrete might be affecting me Feng Shui wise. I’d say that life has definitely been ‘stagnant’, albeit it has been so even before moving into this space. Will I benefit from a Bagua mirror above the external side of my sliding doors facing this slab? (`1.5m between sliding glass door and slab). If it matters, I seem to have ‘subconsciously’ placed a full mirror on the internal wall opposite the concrete slab, and have a decor piece of a divider backed by a mirror on the ugly slab itself (meaning my internal wall reflects the concrete slab, my sliding door and lots of vegetables+herbs, whilst the mirrror of the decor piece on the concrete slab reflects my sliding door, some hanging herbs and my seating area). PS: Please excuse the length of this post, wanted to be as detailed possible to avoid taking up more of your time going back and forth. Thanks so much for being so kind with your knowledge!) 😊

    1. Hi Amaia,

The hallway should be fine as it is if it is kept neat and tidy. The best thing you can do is keep the entrance areas as the external features are usually out of your control. Try and keep these areas fresh and bright. A ba gua mirror would work well here although only if the concrete slab is not too close.

      I hope this helps, Amaia.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

      1. Hi my problem is the position of my front door center faces North east directly from elevator with two neighbors right and left side. Can i use concave bagua mirror to my front door?

        Thank you ^^

        1. Hi Michz,

I would not recommend using a Ba Gua mirror if this is inside of a building as this could cause stagnant energy. If your front door does not have walls around it and is outside, I would place a Ba Gua wealth protection mirror.

          I hope this helps.

          Kind regards,
          Daniel

  6. My neighbors, who live directly across the street, purchased an armory cannon as a lawn ornament. They have it directly pointed at my second floor bedroom. Since putting that monstrosity there, my neighbor to the right of me died of lung cancer, my neighbor to the left died suddenly of a brain tumor, and then my husband died of cancer as well. My neighbors with the canon are not terrible people, but my husband before he passed, asked them to at least not point it in our direction. Then after he passed, I asked them to move it as well, they thought we were worried about a “misfire”. No, I told them it’s very bad Feng shui. She said she would ask her husband about it. That was six months ago. I am having terrible luck with many aspects of my life.
I have heard to get a bigger cannon, not practical at all, that thing is a heavy duty wwI artillery and I wouldn’t like anything like that around me. One of the reasons they won’t move it is that it is so heavy.
Can you advise me where to go from here.

    1. Hi Christine,

I’m so sorry to hear you’re having problems. A cannon is a very powerful tool in Feng Shui even if it is not placed intentionally.

If they are not going to move the cannon, I would recommend planting a shrub or putting up a fence to block the path of the cannon.

If you’re not able to do the above, my other suggestion would be to ask if they would allow you to get people in to move the cannon so it does not point towards your home.

I hope you get this resolved, Christine.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  7. Hi… my neighbour has placed a shoe rack directly facing my front door. I live in a high rise apartment so our shared corridor is like just about less than 1 metre across.
Asking them to place the messy shoe rack filled with dirty shoes isn’t an option since they won’t move it. I read that such dirty shoes are bad feng shui to me since they are directly in front of my main entrance.

Will a bagua mirror above my front door help in such a case?

    Thank you.

    1. Hi,

I would not recommend placing a ba gua mirror outside your door if it is an internal door as this would cause more problems. The best option would be to purchase them a cheap shoe rack with a cover to hide the shoes when they are outside although I realise this might be hard to do. Sometimes, there are things we cannot control in Feng Shui and the best thing to do is to make sure the rest of your home is as good as it can be.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  8. hi,

can I use bagua mirrors to ensure people dont dump garbage in an empty land oppsite to front of the house.

    1. Hi,

I can’t say this will definitely work although Ba Gua mirrors work to deflect any negative energy so may benefit from good energy around the outside of your home. I would suggest trying it out to see if it works.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  9. Hi,

There is a garbage dump opposite to the left side of my house and there is a bakery opposite to the right side of my house. In the bakery people always gather and create noise and people never stop dumping in the garbage. Can I place two bagua mirrors to left and right to deflect this negative energy from affecting our house? I want them removed as well. Please help.

    1. Hi Hema,

A Ba Gua mirror sounds great for this situation.

I would recommend using a Ba Gua wealth protection mirror for the dump and bakery.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  10. My concave Bagua Mirror was broken during painting of my apartment complex…I think. I’ve had it for well over five years and the small eye hook was accidentally pulled out of the frame (which as already a bit warped). While the crafty side in me knows I could rotate the mirror and put in another eye hook, I was wondering if I should. Mine has the appropriate Chinese characters printed on it and I was wondering if that could cause issues with it working.

Additionally, if I should retire it – how can I respectfully retire it (read: dispose of) so that the negative energy it has taken in won’t cause myself or anyone issues? I had to bring it inside to avoid it being stepped on, I’m about to wrap it up in paper so it doesn’t cause any issues until I can figure out how to retire it.

    1. Hi Shark,

If your Ba Gua mirror is 5 years old, it is definitely time to replace this as they collect and store a great deal od negative energy. I tend to replace the mirror at my home twice a year.

To dispose of a mirror, you should dispose of it in a sealed bin away from the home. You can wrap it in tissue paper or kitchen roll before disposing of it.

      I hope this helps.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  11. Hey we have a neighbor who has kept this mirror and it is causing problems in my house.. how can we deal with that.. they think that we bad but we are very neutral to them.. what can be done please help

    1. Hi,

The best solution for this is to put up a fence, bush, or something that will block the mirrors view as this will avoid the energy coming towards your home.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  12. Hi,

My main door is facing My Neigbour door. My Husband are pretty bother by my Neigbour who keep splashing water out of her house every single day. After we moved in to this house our wealth has been deteriorating and nothing good happen to my Husband’s business (heavily in debts). For what I know my Neigbour is getting a divorce and nothing good is happening to their side too. And the Neigbour hang a wu lu ( gourd) plus a Chinese Talisman paste above her door. I not sure whatever she do and hang will affect us or not but Is there anything that I can place to attract good wealth and let good things happen to us?

    1. Hi Jocelyn,

I’m sorry to hear your new home is not working out for you. Your neighbour hanging a Wu Lou should not cause your problems; I can’t advise on the talisman without seeing it, I’m afraid.

I would take a look at the link below as this is what effects wealth in 2018 and try to implement the suggested colurs https://www.fengshuiweb.co.uk/advice/flyingstars2018/8star.htm

I hope this helps and hope things get better for you, Jocelyn.

      Kind regards,

      1. Good am, my main gate red color facing west is T Junction, my main door green color facing north. Feng Shui practioner said to me to put foo dog bagua mirror above my main gate facing west T Junction. Other Feng shui practioner said to me that bagua mirror never been use since 2007. What can I do now? Thank you.

      2. Good pm, My main door red is facing West T-Junction. Feng Shui Practioner said to me that use foo dog bagua mirror. Other feng shui practioner said that they are not recommended to use bagua mirror since 2007. Can I use Foo Dog Bagua mirror, convex mirror or concave mirror. Please help. Thank you.

        Bhabes Latosa

        1. Hi Bhabes,

I would recommend using a Ba Gua wealth protection mirror outside your front door to deflect the negative energy bought from the T junction.

          Kind regards,
          Daniel

          1. I have planned to move my main gate to avoid the T-Junction. I will block it with hollowblocks . I will relocate my main gate in the center of west that was my house facing . If so I would faced my neighbors main gate. I dont have any option T-Junction or neighbors maingate? What is the remedy if my main gate facing my neighbors main gate can I used Fu Dog Ba Gua Mirror? I have Fu Dog Ba Gua Mirror in my bag I bought last week.

          2. Hi,

A gate facing your neighbours gate does not necessarily mean you will encounter problems.

If you have a healthy relationship with your neighbour, I would not place any cures for now and try to monitor the energy of the home.

If you are not on good terms with your neighbour, I would place a concave Ba Gua mirror as this will neutralise any negative energy rather than send it back.

            Kind regards,
            Daniel

  13. Ever since we moved into my new home, I am finding myself in financial hardship, relationship turmoil with my husband over finances. Someone told me it could be because the stairs inside my home directly face the double front doors of the house. Is that true?

    1. Hi Farah,

This can cause problems where the fresh Qi flows through the home too quickly and cannot disperse around the home. If possible, I’d try to palce something between the staircase and door.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

      1. Hi Daniel – can I hang Chinese Feng Shui Convex Bagua Mirror (5″) inside my home right above the front doors?

        1. Hi Farah,

Ba gua mirrors should never be hung inside a building as this can cause a lot of problems. I would hang this outside just above your front door if you can.

          Kind regards,
          Daniel

  14. hello, i hope you can still read my letter =)

i have a neighbor who is very envious, competetive and very boastful, always shouting negative things to their subordinates, always angry and always in negative disposition. when we buy car they will buy car, when we held event they will held event they are always competing. they always abuse their subordinates, also our street is residential but they built a factory of furniture and they are always noisy shouting with each other. we dont feel peace with this kind of neighbor can you help us what should we do? our terrace veranda is facing their terrace too. our front house is directly facing their house too.

    thank you very much!

    1. Hi,

I’m so sorry to hear you’re having problems with your neighbours.

The best thing you can do is try and screen off yourself from the neighbours with a fence or bush; this will block the negative energy from their home being spread to yours.

You could also try placing a concave ba gua mirror as this will help absorb and neutralise the negative energy.

I hope this helps and hope things get better for you.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  15. Hi,

My neighbors across the street are always noisy. Daytime music to the point that we couldn’t even hear our own radio or TV. Evening parties that last until mid-morning if we are lucky complete with strobe lights and the likes.

We live in a place where city ordinance against noise is just one of the policies created for display. I have tried reporting them to the police and the local council to no avail. They are back to their old ways as if they have never been reported and even worse as if their way of telling we just have to suck it up to not make things worse. We are also afraid they might hurt us as their family is the biggest in the street in terms of number not to mention the usual contingents they have that come and go. We own our house, and moving is not a viable option for us now.

What kind of bagua should we use? Also, it is our gate that face their house particularly their door. Is it okay if we place the bagua on top of our gate?

    1. Hi Jules,

I’m so sorry to hear about your problems with your neighbours; that can make a perfect home a nightmare!

For this, I would recommend placing a concave Ba Gua mirror as this will absorb and neutralise any negative energy coming towards your home. I would place it on your home pointing towards the problem neighbour. You can place the mirror on top of your gate if it will not be in a place that gets knocked and could fall.

I hope things get better for you.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

      1. Hi Michael,

Thank you so much for your recommendation. We will do that ASAP. Thanks for the kind wishes, too. Have a great day!

        Best,
        Jules

  16. Hi ,
We have shifted to the property which my husbands dad had bought for us when he was alive . This bungalow was locked for 10 yrs and has a litigation issue . The main gate faces the opposite neighbour who constantly has an eye on the propert and has cheated my husbands dad . The neighbour is always troubling us and trying to put false court cases and wants to buy this property from us forcefully . I have bought two bagua concave mirrors .. can this help us protecting from the neighbour? And where should I hang this exactly .. thank you

    1. Hi Aqthar,

This is the mirror I would have recommended you use so you can go ahead and place the mirror outside of your home pointing towards the troublesome neighbour as this will absorb and neutralise any negative energy coming towards your home.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  17. my house is a bi level wherein the main door opens directly to the stairs of the house what sould i do or placed to attract positive energy and goodluck inside the house , money and proserity should i put a bagua mirror?

    1. Hi Dell,

I would try and keep the entrance nice and clean and if possible, place something between the door and the stairs to slow the flow of Qi through your home. You could use a lampstand, plant or something that will look in place.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

        1. Hi Dell,

It all depends on what you are trying to achieve in your home. I would take a look at the categories on the left relevant to what you would like out of life.

          Kind regards,
          Daniel

  18. Hello again,

I have now purchased several of these mirrors. I placed one bagua mirror above the back door, facing towards the back fence/gates.There was an immediate change–the garden now feels like a private garden rather than open, publlc space.

I placed a second bagua mirror above the front door but there is a horizontal wooden beam (supporting the front porch’s roof) directly in front of it (approximately three feet in front of the mirror). Is the wooden beam obstructing the mirror’s capacity to block negativity? We are continuing to have terrible experiences. Too much negativity coming our way.

Should I move the mirror to the outside of the porch (placing it on the street side of the wooden beam) so that the mirror is still located in front of, and above, the front door but is not obstructed?

Thank you so very much for your help.

    1. Hi Giselle,

I would move the mirror at the front so that it is not obstructed and see if you notice a difference.

      I hope this helps.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  19. Hi,
I moved into our new home 2 years ago and since then I have been struggling a lot financially. Our wealth is has deteriorated dramatically. As soon as Money comes in to the home, as fast as it goes out. I live in a culd sac. My main door faces West and my garage door is located in SW. I currently have a convex bagua on top of my front door and of my garage door. However, I am not sure if this is correct to have them. I do have neighbors in front of me and I don’t want to harm them in anyway. Also, there is a light pole on the front of my home in the direction to my front door. Can you please let me know what kind of bagua mirrors to use as I don’t want to cause harm to anyone. Thank you.

    1. Hi Jerry,

The best ba gua mirror you can use in your situation is a Ba Gua wealth protection mirror. You should hang this above your front door.

Convex mirrors are for more extreme cases such as is you lived opposite a prison or police station.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  20. I am moving into a new house which has a southwest front door with nice views. Can I Place a concave mirrors outside all sides of the house for maximum protection. Is there any other protection you recommend. Your guidance would be much appreciated

    1. Hi Oscar,

I would not recommend placing concave ba gua mirrors around your home unless you live close to a cemetery, prison etc.

The safest bet would be to place a ba gua wealth protection mirror above your front door as this is the safest option.

Good luck in your new home.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  21. Hi Daniel,
I have a cool convex mirror that was placed inside a wooden clock frame. The clock is just for looks doesn’t work. It’s antique looking, and I really like it. It’s oval and quite large. 30 inches all the way around. I wish I could show you a picture to let you see it. Anyways I was thinking about hanging it on a North wall that would reflect the dining room and kitchen. Would this be a bad idea?

I’ve tried googling this subject but can’t find anything on it.

    1. Hi Michael
We just built a two storey commercial/house back home facing big church between main road and also on the other side of my house is school, lots of tricycle parking around and loud noise from two speakers came from church outside facing the house….thinking to get a Bagua mirror pls help.

      1. Hi Maria,

        Congratulations on your new home!

I would suggest placing a Ba Gua wealth protection mirror outside your front door, pointing towards the church.

  22. I’m so glad I found your website. Thank you for increasing my understanding of feng shui, which I have been studying and putting into personal practice for almost 20 years. If you could consider my question, I would appreciate it. My home faces east, with a street (my river) fairly close. Across the street is an old established woodlot which I love to see from my kitchen window. My small city (pop. 1500) has sold this land and it is expected that the trees will be lost and replaced with houses and a dollar store, which is distressing to me and most of my other neighbors. I was going to place 8-sided mirrors on the outside of my house in the hope of stopping this plan but am not sure if/when I should do this. The plan is to build in the spring. The lot now covered with trees is very steep and backed by bedrock and we are wondering how anything can be built without considerable cost to rectify the current landscape. I am wondering how I might use feng shui to save the woodlot since I believe it is not yet too late to stop the development.

    1. Hi Barb,
Sorry to hear about this, must be awful for you. Personally, I would place ba gua mirror and also face something like a cannon or any pointed object at the woodlot although make sure it does not point at any houses. If you use a canon I would avoid one made of metal as with an east facing home you have the #8 star here in 2017 and you do not want to weaken this. I would also place some quartz crystals into the east front of home to give more strength to the #8 star although make sure you follow all the 2018 annual advice that will be posted in the next few days
      Good luck barb.
      Kind regards
      Michael

      1. Thank you, Michael. Where should I put the ba gua mirror in relation to the pointed object? Also, after my original post, I realized that I need to strengthen the trees and land while they are still here and deflect the intention for the future of the sight. Would a pointed crystal work for this? How big should the ba gua mirror and pointed object be? I have a small front porch that faces this and could add these cures to the porch.
        Thank you!
        Barb

  23. Hi, our house is dwarfed by larger houses on both sides, and opposite. The house across the road has a front door directly facing our front door. Behind our back fence, there is a warren of alleys in which there is often suspicious activity.
Our street is a narrow, one-way street; traffic passes from left to right, in front of our house. The West side of our house faces the entrance to our street – traffic travels straight towards the (front half of) the side-wall of our house. We have had intrusions from the alleys.and other security issues. We have an unpleasant, trouble-making next-door neighbour (to the East). The next-door neighbour to the West is changeable – friendly for many months, and then unfriendly.. Please help. We feel as if under siege.
Should I hang a flat bagua mirror in each direction, above a door (or placed high on the wall), on the inside walls (mirrors facing outwards)? Can I hang more than four bagua mirrors?
    Thank you.

    1. Hi Giselle,
So sorry to hear about all this, it must be distressing for you. Personally, from what you have told me I would have a flat ba gua mirror at the rear and another facing onto your east neighbour who sounds the worst out of the two, I do not think you need one at the front or your unpredictable neighbour.
Hope this helps and good luck Giselle.
      Kind regards
      Michael

  24. In 2014, we moved to a new home: an old, smaller house with taller houses either side. Our walls adjoin the neighbours’ houses. There is a rabbit warren of alleys behind the house, and these alleys are deserted, most of the time. Since moving here:
    1. Neighbour on one side is unfriendly; complains; unpleasant.
    2. Prowler/stalker. Has stolen mail and rubbish; has stolen personal items from the clothesline. (We think entry was gained by the rear alleys. The rear fence and double gates have now been extended/raised.) Has tried to break into the home at night after we retire. Police cannot investigate due to lack of evidence.
It has occurred to me that feng shui may be able to help change these circumstances. I would be most grateful for your advice.

    1. Also: our front door faces North. It directly faces a neighbour’s front door (on the other side of the street). That neighbour’s house is much bigger than ours.
The rear of the house, of course, faces South. The alleys are to the South of the house. The rear of the house has many full-length windows on the South side and the West side.
      Thank you.

      1. My mother in law is hatefu, negative and envious towards my husband and I. She doesn’t even say Hi to my adult children who have always been respectful. We were gifted the house my father-in-laws mother lived and owned when she deceased ten years ago. They live acrossed the street, one house over. We are on the south side of the street and they in the north. They sneer anf me and my children as we come in and out of our home. I would like to place a bagua but have a porch over our front door and a drive way and garage on thw west of my front door (when facing the door). I have a very unfriendly femald neighbor who just moved un across the street who is prison guard. She stares incessantly and I have waved at her many times in the beginning to show no need for her behavior. When that didn’t help I stopped. Should I place the bagua over my porch on the protruding beam or over the garage? The garage, house frame would be closer to my in laws. Thank you in advance.

        1. Hi,

I would recommend placing a concave Ba Gua facing towards your mother in laws home as these mirrors are designed to absorb and neutralise negative energy and will not cause harm to your mother in law.

          I hope this helps.

          Kind regards,
          Daniel

  25. Hi Daniel,
I’m Jenny,i need help ,my main door is facing east and left side of the main door there is a staircase to go to the terrace and all the people stays in the building walks from my front door verandah , they will always stared at my door and window as if they have never seen a human in their life,my room is it on the top floor ,my neighbours sharing a small verandah with me since their main door facing north they sweep and poured dirty wate and dog poop to ward my door ,they are neighbour that no one wish to have lousy noisey and so cheap character , i started having very bad experience , can i place BaGua mirror on the above front door or right side of the door within a hidden plantr ,

    1. Hi Jenny,
Sorry to hear you are having these problems, I would place a ba gua mirror on top of your door and it can be hidden if you prefer.
      Good luck
      Daniel
