Tui 7 Red – The Lofty Wind of Tui (Po Jun) flies into the southwest in 2026

Flying star advice for the annual #7 star in 2026

The #7 argumentative star will fly into the southwest of all homes and workplaces in 2026, and when activated, it can bring problems related to assault, deceit, violence, and robbery. The southwest will also be an unfavourable area for those who suffer from lung conditions such as COPD or asthma, as the #7 star can aggravate respiratory issues when its energy is disturbed.

In period 9, the #7 star will retain its inauspicious nature, and we will be treating this star the same way as in period 8 by using water and wood cures and colours to drain energy from the metal energy.

The #7 star during period 9 Feng Shui
Auspicious or inauspicious –
Inauspicious
Influence when activated – burglary, deception, copyright theft, gossip and backstabbing
weaken with –
Wood and water cures

Please take care with the southwest this year, especially if you have an important room here, as this area can strengthen chances of burglary, deception, copyright theft, gossip and backstabbing from others when it is left untreated or activated. To weaken the influence of the #7 star, it is best to introduce water and wood cures and colours here; please avoid flowing water, as this will introduce too much active Qi. Colours and elements that should be avoided in the southwest this year are earth, metal and fire cures and colours.

Feng Shui water colours

The most effective cure to place in the southwest this year to weaken the influence of the annual #7 star is the Xiaochoujiemen Rice cure. This powerful rice cure has been included in our cure and enhancer kits for several years, and based on our experience, it is one of the most effective methods to safely absorb the negative qi brought by the #7 star. In 2026, the rice cure can help weaken and drain the energy of the #7 star, making the southwest palace a safer and more peaceful space during the Year of the Horse.

Colour choices for the southwest in 2026 – green, black, grey, blue
Colours to avoid in the southwest in 2026 – brown, terracotta, beige, yellow, white, silver, gold, copper, yellow, red, orange, burgundy, purple, pink, lilac
Elements to use in the southwest in 2026 – Wood and water
Elements to avoid in the southwest in 2026 – Metal, fire and earth

If you have a door that leads to the outside that is often used in the southwest this year, a good cure for this is to place a Ba Gua wealth protection mirror, although please only use this if there is clear space around the door outside; more than 2 metres is a good general rule. I would also avoid slamming the door as much as possible, as frequent banging noise is likely to activate the #7 star.

The #7 star is notorious for causing security issues, so please make sure that your locks, alarms, cameras, smoke alarms, etc, are all in good order around the home before the New Year. With Feng Shui, some of the simplest solutions are the best cure, and pre-empting potential issues will help a great deal.

How to weaken the annual #7 star in the southwest in 2026

If you use colours to activate or weaken stars, please avoid using metal, fire, and earth colours in the southwest this year. If these colours are already present and cannot be easily changed, balance the energy by introducing strong water colours such as blue, black, or grey in the southwest.

If you cannot avoid carrying out noisy or disruptive work in the southwest this year, try to schedule it for a month when an auspicious monthly star visits this sector — in 2026, these will occur during May, June, July, August, and October.

It is also wise to be cautious and avoid taking unnecessary risks if an important room, such as an office, bedroom, living room, or kitchen, is located in the southwest, as there may be deceitful individuals or hidden challenges working against you. This area also shows signs of misunderstandings, pressure, and potential business rivalries that could lead to financial or relationship losses.

Summary for the annual #7 star in the southwest in 2026:

Please keep the southwest of your home and business calm and quiet throughout the year, as this will help avoid this area being activated. Place a Xiaochoujiemen Rice cure here for the year to help absorb negative Qi and keep this area settled. Water colours will help keep this area settled and can be easily placed with decorations, throws, pillows, etc.

If you have an office or door in the southwest, please be careful of people trying to deceive you, robbery, arguments and loss of wealth. It is important that you double-check paperwork before finalising anything, as this star normally causes problems with people you know and thought you could trust.

Please take extra care during February, March, April, September, December and January (2027).

Better months are May, June, July, August, and October.

Recommendations and cures for the #7 visiting the southwest in 2026:

  • Place water and wood colours in the southwest during 2026 to help balance and control the energy of the annual #7 star.
  • Having plants in the southwest will also help to drain and weaken the negative energy of this star.
  • Try to introduce water colours, such as blue, into your décor. You can do this through cushions, rugs, bed covers, or doormats.
  • Avoid using anything related to the fire element or the colour red, as this will only aggravate the #7 star.
  • Do not light candles in the southwest this year, as this will strengthen its negative influence.
  • Place a Xiaochoujiemen Rice cure in the southwest of your home or office for protection against the harmful effects of the #7 star.
  • Make sure to install, service, or upgrade smoke alarms and security systems to safeguard your home or business.
  • Avoid hanging metal wind chimes in the southwest during 2026.

  1. Hello!

I love your website and have been reading for many years. You provide much useful information, thank you. I find we are in a pickle with a situation on our property and learned the hard way to mind the warnings, but need advice on this please. We have an old dying tree at the south west corner of the house ( towards south). I feel the negative energy of the dying tree is a definite poor effect. We tried over the years to remediate with careful pruning but it is clearly ending its life cycle. It is old, at least 50 years (apple tree). When would it be safe to cut down? Big big tree. It’s half dead and quickly fading.
    Hoping for some wise insights!
    Thank you🙏🏻
    Linda

    1. Hi Linda,

Thank you for the lovely feedback!

We had a very similar situation in our house this year with a 200 year old Oak tree within falling distance from the house; with something like this, I find it best to go ahead with the work when it is convenient for you when something can’t be put off for a better time. We had a full survey done on our tree to see if it could be saved, and decided to have it cut down as soon as possible for safety reasons.

As we were prepared and took the appropriate steps with regard to Feng Shui, we only suffered minor problems from the work, and if you are mindful, you should avoid any big issues from this.

October will have the monthly #6 star fly into the soutwest, which will help alleviate some of the energy from the annual #7 star, so I would recommend doing the work during October (from the 8th) if this needs to come down as soon as possible.

What you could do is leave part of the trunk up to create a monolith for wildlife and also avoid having the stump ground out. This is what we chose to do, to avoid distrubing the ground and minimise issues.

2027 and 2028 will have Tai Sui in the southwest, making these a bad time for disturbing the ground with work like this.

I hope this helps, and I hope that the work goes well 🙂

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

      1. Hi Daniel,

Thank you so much for your considerations. I was thinking you might say something like this, and am grateful for the confirmations. I feel that if an energy is negative, it must be better to eradicate it than suffer through it in fear of repercussions, and I imagine that perhaps it is aiding the energy of the sector somehow, a careful improvement. We’ll schedule the work for after October 8. I too thought that leaving a nice tall stump would be a good thing for the wildlife, they will surely enjoy a little landing pad and a place to hang out.

        I appreciate your help!
        All the best,
        Linda

        1. Hi Linda,

Yes, it is definitely better in situations like yours to go ahead with the work and take whatever steps your can.

I hope it all goes well 🙂

          Kind regards,
          Daniel
