In the Chinese zodiac twelve-year cycle, each year has a different Chinese animal sign, and those born in that particular year are said to inherit the characteristics of that Chinese zodiac animal. These animals, in order, are the Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig and this valuable document will reveal your secret friend, your two allies and your conflict animal.
In authentic Chinese astrology, the twelve Chinese animals can be categorised into four groups of three animal allies, also known as San He (three harmonies). Anyone born to a certain Chinese animal zodiac will get along very well with their two astrological ally friends in the group, as shown below.
As an example the Tiger, Horse and Dog form one of the four zodiac allies group and will have special affinities between them although the most powerful ally (secret friend) for the Tiger is the Pig who is also known as the Boar and ideally you should carry an image of your secret friend with you at all times

Doing this is said to help improve luck and success and help you avoid many problems, even if the horoscope prediction does not look good one year. Your zodiac secret friend is said to give you give you the power and energy to get through these tricky times as well as enhance your luck.
Every authentic Feng Shui Master and consultant will recommend this and it is something I have done as far back as I can remember, personally I have a gold plated Chinese Animal protection Talisman in my wallet, one in my car and one beside my bed. I have shown an example below.
You will notice from the graph below your Chinese animal will have two allies and these are also someone who is said to protect and enhance luck although a secret friend is someone you can always count on and will always protect and you should carry this talisman card close to you at all times.
Note that if your animal sign is yang, your secret friend will be yin and if your animal sign is yin your secret friend will be yang.
Every Chinese animal will have a conflicted animal, as you can tell at the first sight, is the opposite of what your allies and secret friends are. These are the animals directly opposite to you on the compass.

In a parent and child relationship, the Ox child will enjoy the organized Rooster household. The Rooster parent will get the young Oxen’s best qualities and will encourage them to become more outgoing and let them develop in their own way. The relationship between these two animals will be extremely good.
In a parent and child relationship, the young Ox will respond well to their affectionate and conscientious Pig parent. There will be a great bond between these two animals which will be made a lot stronger by their similar interests.

In a parent and child relationship, the Rooster parent may not appreciate the sensitive and concerned nature of the young Dog. The young Dog needs love and patience and the Rooster parent will need to give them this. If they can learn to accept each other’s personalities, they can be very happy together.

Hi, ox here! I read that there shouldn’t be two tigers in one household, one has to go. Is this true? Also, that it brings bad luck in health for one of the parents or parents end in divorce? Husband is tiger. We have a child born in the year of the pig. Would a water tiger be a clashing addition?

Relations between these two animals can be a bit tricky at times as both animals’ competitive natures can get the better of them, they will both try to rule and control the relationship which can cause arguments.
In a parent and child relationship, The Tiger parent will try to encourage the young Tigers interested nature and will teach them well. They will have many interests that they can share and enjoy with each other but the young Tiger does not like to take orders which is a typical tiger mannerism, which can lead to a disagreement between the two Tigers. The parent and child will have a lot of love for each other but relations may be unstable at times.
These two tigers will constantly have lots of ideas in the workplace but will both want to take the lead. Tigers have a competitive, independent and self-willed nature which will cause these two animals to want to work alone rather than work together if they can learn to combine the talents they can work together in the office.

In a parent and child relationship, the Ox parent will take pride in the young Tigers innovative and imaginative nature although the Ox parent can find the young Tiger a bit of a handful at times. The Ox parent is somewhat reserved whilst the young Tiger is always searching for new experiences and is forever active. They can both be strong-minded which may lead to conflict. The two animals will try hard to build a mutual understanding but this can be a bit hard to reach from time to time.

The Rabbit is the conflict animal for your husband although, with a little work, this can be resolved. In a parent and child relationship, the Rooster parent will appreciate the young Rabbits willingness to learn but the parent blunt nature could cause problems every now and again. Relations can be a little awkward at times.

In a parent and child relationship, the Pig parent may not always be aware of the secluded and secretive ways of the young Snake but will do a great deal to encourage them and try to make them a lot less reserved. Hi ! I’ve recently been to a few masters and it seems like all have conflicting advice. I’m born in 1990, so I’m a metal horse?
One (who took my birth date/time) told me I’m lacking in water hence should wear black, blue. However two other masters (who only asked for birth year) said I need red, and should avoid black and blue. So I’m getting a little confused here. If you were born between the 4th of February 1990, your Chinese animal would be the Metal Horse.
They were probably going by your Gua number which is 8 and you should use shades of reds, peach, burgundy, maroon and pink. Any colour that has a fire look to it. Enhancing colours are the element colour that assists you and this case fire creates earth.

Hi, am an early 81 Metal Monkey and he’s an early 77 Fire Dragon I’ve been having a pretty big crush on (not just crazy physical attraction, but actually to his whole being).
We couldn’t be together for YEARS for professional reasons, so he’s been pretty reserved with me (when he doesn’t seem as much so with others) and I’ve been kind of avoiding him not to jump on him inadvertently…

Relationships can also be a bit twitchy at times in the office with the Ox and Tiger. The Ox will portray the Tiger as reactive and spontaneous which can make relations a bit difficult at times in the workplace. The Tiger likes to take action and will dive straight into any activities given to them while the Ox would much rather take a slow pace and plan as they go along. Both animals appear to be well-established in their ways although this can be overcome if they work out a common agreement.
The Ox prefers a quiet existence and might find it hard to adapt to the lifestyle of the Tiger. The Tiger may be enjoyable company and an affectionate partner but these two animals often have conflicting interests. They will need to find time to compromise in order for this relationship to run smoothly.

When your animal is opposite the year animal, this means that your Chinese animal is the conflict animal for the year. For example, in a Dog year, the Dragon would be the conflict animal and would need to work harder to make this a successful year.

I come across your very resourceful website from googling my concern. I am an earth sheep and my husband is metal rooster. Our first child is horse boy. He is very loving and easy to care. We have been trying for second child but has not been successful until now, which means we would have rat baby. We are extremely happy and I know that rat clashes with horse and rooster in some relationship. How is the outlook of the parent and sibling relationship with this baby? Is there anything we should know to be better parent?

In a parent and child relationship, the adventurous Rat child could find life in a strictly controlled rooster household can be a little tense at times and there could be restlessness to their relationship although the Rooster parent will be a good influence by enforcing their rules which will help the Rat learn. There will be a good relationship between these two animals.

Hello! I am curious about the conflicting animal. Would a conflicting animal’s allies also cause problems for an individual? For example, if you are a rat, your conflicting animal is a horse. But a horse’s allies are tiger and dog. Would a rat also have difficulties with tigers and dogs as well, and thus should avoid/be aware of the allies as well?
