What do we do with this information?

In every building, there are good and bad palaces that affect our daily lives. How and who gets affected (good or bad) depends on who occupies which area of the home or business. From the 8th of October to the 6th of November 2024, it is the ninth month of the year of the Yang Wood Dragon – Jia Xu (Yang Wood Dog) month, with the ruling energy of #6 in the central grid.

The best location for candles in October is in the southwest.

Unforutnately, there are no ideal locations for plants this month, although please follow the advice below and introduce the monthly cures if you cannot move existing plants. 

North

Kun 2 Black (Ju Men) is an earth star and a yin Trigram. It affects the stomach, digestive, general sickness and problems with thought processes. During period 9, the #2 is considered auspicious and while we can see benefits from this star, we will need to apply care in the first few years of period 9.

In October, we will have the monthly #2 star fly into the north palace along with the annual #8 star and while the #2 star requires a mix of metal and earth in the early stages of period 9, my advice would be to leave this area as it is with the annual cures in place. If you have any large earth colours here such as throws or rugs, you can either remove the larger pieces for the month or add small amounts of metal if you prefer.

When activated correctly, this star can bring good health, relationship and wealth prospects this month, and if you follow the advice above, this can be a lovely area for a commonly used room. As the #2 star went from an inauspicious star to an auspicious star, I would keep this area tranquil for the first few years of period 9 and avoid using this room for any physical exercise.

The monthly #9 star will fly into the northeast palace in October along with the annual #6 and while we have two auspicious stars in the same sector, these elements are in conflict with eachother. The best option would be to leave this area as it is with regards to the annual cures this month. You can place traditional fire cures such as a red Buddha, although please avoid large fire or wood cures as this will destroy the auspicious annual influence. If you have a lot of water colours here or have been going through relationship issues, I would introduce metal colours, although please use these sparingly as this has a destructive nature to the #4 when used in large amounts; small metal cures will be fine here.

 – Real quartz crystal is very good in this area for the month as are faceted crystal spheres.
