From the 7th of September to the 7th of October 2025, it is the eighth month of the year of the Yin Wood Snake – Yi You (Yin Wood Rooster) month, with the ruling energy of #4 in the central grid.
The best location for candles in September is in the north, although please use them sparingly.

North
Li 9 Purple (You Bi) Li 9 Purple is a fire star and a yin trigram and is the most auspicious governing flying star during period 9 (2024 – 2044), which became the primary wealth star for this period. When this area is activated this month, we can benefit from new opportunities in career, leading to higher roles and salary. This is a fantastic area to have an entrance door, office or bedroom located here.
The north will have the annual #7 visiting for the year, along with monthly #9 flying in this month. Luckily, we can still make use of the auspicious visiting energy in the north this month. During September, I would recommend introducing wood cures as this will help drain energy from the annual star and also enhance the annual star for the month. You can use candles here in September, although please use them sparingly.

Tui 7 Red (Po Jun) robbery star is a metal star and a yin trigram, which is known as the mischievous Po Jun #7 argumentative red star. And in period 9 (2024 – 2044), this is an inauspicious star which can cause many issues related to robbery, deception, arguments and overall bad luck this month. The trigram Tui is also known as’ Broken Soldier’. This is a fighting star which can cause problems if left alone, the #7 Red indicates a high risk of burglary, deception, copyright theft, gossip and backstabbing.
The northeast will have the annual #5 star located here during 2025, along with the monthly #7 star, and while we will have two inauspicious stars in the same sector, it will be relatively easy to weaken both stars. For September, You can make use of your metal cures that are already in place for the #5 star and also introduce water colours to weaken the monthly #7 star and also drain energy from the annual star.
If you have your 6-rod chimes in the northeast for 2025, these can stay in place, although please make sure that they are not hung somewhere very windy.
This is not a good area for anyone with a creative career, such as an artist or writer and is also not a good place for children studying (especially the youngest daughter and females in general), although please try not to worry, as a calm environment, along with the right cures, will help to control this energy and avoid this area being activated.

East
Kun 2 Black (Ju Men) is an earth star and a yin Trigram. It affects the stomach, digestive, general sickness and problems with thought processes. During period 9, the #2 is considered auspicious and while we can see benefits from this star, we will need to apply care in the first few years of period 9.
In September 2025, the monthly #2 star will fly into the east, along with the annual #9 star, and we can enjoy a good combination in this area. To enhance the monthly star, you can place a balanced mix of metal and earth cures here. If you are using fire cures for the annual star, these can stay in place during September. Please remember that we have the Three Killings in the east for 2025, so it is wise to keep this area calm.
To enhance the #2 star in the early stages of period 9 up until 2028, I would recommend placing a mix of earth cures alongside metal cures so that we do not introduce too much yang energy into this area early on. The #2 has gone from an inauspicious star to a lucky one, and while we can still activate this and get great results with health and wealth prospects, my opinion is that this energy must be handled with care in the early stages of period 9. A good cure in this stage is to place crystals in a metal bowl or dish to balance the energy as this will feed the inherent energy of the #2 earth star while also controlling the energy with metal being introduced.
When activated correctly, this star can bring good health, relationship and wealth prospects this month, and if you follow the advice above, this can be a lovely area for a commonly used room. As the #2 star went from an inauspicious star to an auspicious star, I would keep this area tranquil for the first few years of period 9 and avoid using this room for any physical exercise.

– Before 2028, enhance this area with a blend of metal and earth cures and colours.

The #3 star affects the wellbeing of the eldest son and is generally considered an inauspicious during period 9 (2024 – 2044), requiring remedies or avoidance in this area for the month.
In September, we will have the monthly #3 star fall into the southeast. We already have the annual #1 star located here for the year, along with Tai Sui, and will need to weaken the inauspicious #3 star with fire cures to get the best result out of the southeast this month. Introducing fire cures will slightly drain good energy from the annual star, so please stick to fire colours and do not introduce candles here. You can still leave your annual cures and enhancers in the southeast in September, although please introduce some small fire colours to balance this.
Please be aware that when this star is activated, it can bring theft, disputes, heated arguments, wealth loss, and legal issues, particularly if the main entrance or significant rooms are situated here during this month.

To enhance the south palace this month, you can leave this area with the earth cures in place, as this will feed the inherent energy of the #8 star and also enhance the annual #6. The northwest will have the monthly #6 star fly-in during September 2025, along with the annual #4 star. To treat this area in September, I would recommend introducing earth cures and colours, as this will drain energy from the annual star and also enhance the monthly #6 star.
The Ch’ien metal 6 is a conditional star and is auspicious in Period 9 (2024 – 2044). Technically, this star is losing its strength as an auspicious star during period 9, although we can still make very good use of this auspicious energy when it is activated with the right cures and enhancers. When activated correctly, the #6 star governs wealth, leadership, success and ambition and is a very good area for politicians, leaders and anyone involved in the jewellery business to spend time in this sector this month.

Northwest
The 5 Yellow (Lian Zhen) star of tragedy is located in this area this month, and in period 9 (2024 – 2044), the #5 star will still remain a dangerous and inauspicious star which will require care and good quality metal cures to control this influence. When activated, this star will impact overall luck and bring a wide range of health issues, particularly those related to the mind, such as thought process disruptions, lack of energy, and procrastination. The #5 star does not have a trigram and no yin or yang energy so to speak, and will impact all occupants of a home or business when disturbed, making the malicious energy of this star particularly disruptive during period 9.
The northwest is not a nice area in September 2025, as we have the annual #3 star located here for the year with Sui Po, along with the monthly #5 star visiting for the next few weeks. To weaken the northwest in September, you can leave your annual cures in place, although please try to remove any large fire or earth colours from here, and please do not use candles in the northwest during September. For the monthly #5, I would introduce metal cures to help weaken the earth energy; the best cures to place here are a salt cure, six coins or if you have your six rod winchime in the northeast for 2025, you can move this here for the month.
The energy of the #5 star remains malicious and will benefit from good quality clean metal cures here this month to help control and settle the energy of this influence, otherwise, this can bring many problems. If you have a bedroom, office, living room, main door or other commonly used room located here for the month, please read this section carefully as there is much you can do to avoid activating this area, so please try to take this information with a pinch of salt.
The 5 Yellow, also called ‘Wu Huang or Lian Zhen’ in Chinese, is one of the nasty afflictions during period 9. It is an extremely unstable star. How to weaken the #5 star this month
– Avoid playing loud music in this area of the home or room.
– Do not decorate your room with earth colours this month. white bedding and curtains are good colours to use temporarily.
– Place a set of six Chinese coins tied in a row with red ribbon this month
– Place a Brass Wu-Lou in this corner of the room if this is your bedroom.
– Metal objects such as six Chinese metal coins tied in a red ribbon and/or a brass Dragon can be placed in this corner too. Do not to use red dragons.
– Do not burn candles in this sector.
– Most of all, avoid disturbing this area at all costs. Any form of renovations that needs to be done, plan it for another month. It is worth keeping this in mind.

It affects the thighs, hip, buttock, bladder, and liver and can cause colds and flu and during period 9 (2024 – 2044), this is considered an inauspicious star which will require care and attention in order to avoid issues related to romance, friendship, career, general wellbeing and focus.
In September 2025, we will have the monthly #4 star fly into the central palace, along with the annual #2 star, and both of these stars took on a new nature when period 9 begun and need to be treated accordingly for period 9 analysis. For September 2025, we can leave the centre as it is with the annual cures in place, as the mix of earth and metal elements will create a good balance for the annual and monthly stars. I would try to avoid fire colours in the centre this month as this could create too much energy for the #2 star.
The #4 star can bring romance and social problems this month when this star is activated and should be treated carefully with fire cures to weaken the inauspicious influence of this star.
