What do we do with this information?

In every building, there are good and bad palaces that affect our daily lives. How and who gets affected (good or bad) depends on who occupies which area of the home or business. The best Cure is to be aware of the influences each month and know how to capitalise on the beneficial energies or avoid the unfavourable influences either through enhancers or cures or avoidance. Knowing the effects of the influences allows us to take appropriate measures and actions to calm interactions.

So, do not get too worried when you come across a particularly bad sector – sometimes, with thought, care and the appropriate elements, we can balance any conflict of energies or compensate for the lack of an element to bring harmony to a palace. If a palace is particularly bad, avoidance is the best cure. Please do not panic when you find that your bedroom is located in an affected sector for the month. This is only a temporary influence and can be avoided.

• Use the beneficial areas more and the areas of negative influences less. For example, if the living room is affected by conflicting energies, try not to play loud music in this room for the month. By keeping the area quiet, you successfully manipulate the effect of the energies.
• If possible, use another door if your main door is affected this month.
• Use the good sectors to solve existing problems, whether they concern relationships or money matters.

If your main door is affected and this is the only door you have on your property, you should take extra care in what you do during the affected month. You will know it may not be a good time to take risks and also to take extra care of your health.

Xuan Kong Flying Stars April 2025:

From the 4th of April to the 4th of May 2025, it is the third month of the year of the Yin Wood Snake – Geng Chen (Yang Metal Dragon) month, with the ruling energy of #9 in the central grid.

Unfortunately, there are no good locations for candles during April and it is best to avoid using them. A safer alternative this month is to use battery LED candles.

The best locations for crystals in April is the southwest and south. 

The best location for plants in April is the east.

North

The 5 Yellow (Lian Zhen) star of tragedy is located in this area this month, and in period 9 (2024 – 2044), the #5 star will still remain a dangerous and inauspicious star which will require care and good quality metal cures to control this influence. When activated, this star will impact overall luck and bring a wide range of health issues, particularly those related to the mind, such as thought process disruptions, lack of energy, and procrastination. The #5 star does not have a trigram and no yin or yang energy so to speak, and will impact all occupants of a home or business when disturbed, making the malicious energy of this star particularly disruptive during period 9.

We will have the monthly #5 star fly into the north palace along with the annual #7 star and to weaken this inauspicious influence during April, I would recommend introducing a salt cure and six coins tied in a row in the north to control this energy. You can also introduce small water colours as this will drain energy from the #5 star and also weaken the annual #7 star.

The energy of the #5 star remains malicious and will benefit from good quality clean metal cures here this month to help control and settle the energy of this influence, otherwise, this can bring many problems. If you have a bedroom, office, living room, main door or other commonly used room located here for the month, please read this section carefully as there is much you can do to avoid activating this area, so please try to take this information with a pinch of salt.

The 5 Yellow, also called ‘Wu Huang or Lian Zhen’ in Chinese, is one of the nasty afflictions during period 9. It is an extremely unstable star. It has no gender and no trigram and is highly treacherous when disturbed. When disturbed, its malicious influence brings tragedy, sickness, lawsuits and major loss of wealth. Do be careful with it. Stillness together with metal cures, can keep its negative influences at bay, and you must avoid using fire energy like reds and candles in this area this month. If you have a gas hob in this area, this will be fine to use this month, as long as you place metal cures in this sector.

To keep this energy settled, you should place a Wu Lou and six Chinese coins tied with red ribbon and also place more metal decorative objects (provided they are not menacing looking, round shape metal is good) to dissipate its negative influence and avoid this star from being activated.

You MUST NEVER disturb this area inside or out with lots of drilling or knocking activities. So please be careful if you have work to do, and if you have a main door here, you should also place a flat Ba Gua wealth protection mirror.

Please do not place red objects, bright lights, candles or red coloured furnishing in this sector this month as this is a quick way to activate the malevolent energy of the #5 star. Do not worry if you have these colours already, just introduce colours white, silver, gold or copper in the way of a floor mat, cushions, throws, tablecloth or such like. You can also use dark blue or black if you prefer.

If your bathroom, cloakroom, en-suite, guest room or a large cupboard is located here, this is good for you, because these areas are not used much, and therefore, the negative power is not activated.

Do not activate this area with loud noises this month, keep area quiet and avoid at all costs building work or refurbishment. Do not use the fire element or colours red, pink or purple. Keep doors closed. Place a Wu Lou and six coins here along with metal ornaments. Use colours white, silver, gold or copper. I will repeat this part, as it is so important, please keep this area of your home or office as quiet as possible this month, avoid redecoration and building work in this part of your home or office.

The best way to weaken this influence in your home or workplace throughout period 9 is to place a salt water cure whenever you have a #5 star fall into any sector. To make this cure, you will need a jar or pint glass, table or rock salt, 6 Chinese I-Ching coins that come from a good dynasty and a red rhombus knot, which has been added to the salt cure for period 9 to promote good fortune and endless wealth luck.

How to make a salt water cure during period 9

1. Fill a glass jar (roughly pint size); a large jam jar or pint glass will do with table or rock salt to about three-quarters full.
2. Fill the jar to the top with tap water. It would be a good idea to place a mat under the jar to protect furniture or flooring.
3. Place six Chinese i-ching coins on top of the salt in a circle. Make sure the coins are Yang side up; this is the side with the four Chinese characters facing upwards. Don’t worry if the coins sink into the salt as you place the coins; just check they are still yang side up.
4. Ideally, stick the red rhombus knot to the front of the glass with glue or blu tac. If this is not possible, place the tassel at the front, laying it in any direction as long as it is at the front of the cure.
5. The jar will form crystals over time; this shows that it is working to absorb the negative energy.
6. Make sure the water is always topped up throughout the month.
7. Do not cover the top of the glass, and if you place it close to the ceiling, make sure you have at least 6 inches (15cm) between the top of the glass and the ceiling.
8. The salt water cure should not be placed inside a cupboard as it needs to be in contact with the air (qi).
9. Try not to touch or move the jar too much, as it stores a lot of negative energy.

How to weaken the #5 star this month

 – Avoid playing loud music in this area of the home or room.

 – Do not decorate your room with red or earth colours this month. Grey, blue or white bedding and curtains are good colours to use temporarily.

 – Place a set of six Chinese coins tied in a row with red ribbon this month

 – Place a Brass Wu-Lou in this corner of the room if this is your bedroom.

 – Metal objects such as six Chinese metal coins tied in a red ribbon and/or a brass Dragon can be placed in this corner too. Do not to use red dragons.

 – Do not place red objects, burning candles or triangular shaped furnishing in this sector.

 – Most of all, avoid disturbing this area at all costs. Any form of renovation that needs to be done, plan it for another month. It is worth keeping this in mind.

 – A Pi Yao in a gold colour is very effective at not only reducing the bad earth but by also protecting your wealth for the month in this area.

 – Replace or at the very least cleanse your Ba Gua mirror in this area especially if you have a door here.

 – If you have a main door in this area make sure you oil the hinges and try not to let it bang shut and oil squeaky hinges.

 – If you use a fan or other machines that create noise or vibration try and avoid placing it in this part of a room this month.

Remember this is only a passing influence for the month and if you follow all this advice here your month will be just fine.

Northeast

The Chen 3 Jade Star (Lu Cun Xing) is associated with the wood element and is a yang Trigram. This star has an influence on the feet, lungs, liver, bladder, limbs, and can even provoke hysteria when activated. The #3 star affects the wellbeing of the eldest son and is generally considered an inauspicious during period 9 (2024 – 2044), requiring remedies or avoidance in this area for the month.

The northeast is another tricky area in April as the monthly and annual star can cause conflicts. We will have the monthly #3 visiting along with the annual #5, and if we were to weaken the #3 with fire or earth, this would enhance the annual star. The safest option is to leave the northeast as it is with the annual cures as the metal energy will be dispersed between the annual and monthly star and would not have enough influence to cause problems with the monthly #3. If you do not have any annual cures and enhancers in place, I would recommend weakening this area with small metal cures such as six coins tied in a row and a salt cure.

Please be aware that when this star is activated, it can bring theft, disputes, heated arguments, wealth loss, and legal issues, particularly if the main entrance or significant rooms are situated here during this month.

If your bedroom, office, living room, main door, or other commonly used space is located in this area and relocating is not an option this month, please pay close attention to this section. The good news is that now you are aware of the unfavourable nature of this star, there is a lot that can be done with ease to avoid this star becoming activated.

If your main entrance or a vital room, like an office, lounge, or study, falls in this area, take your time when signing documents throughout the month, as mistakes can be easily made. The presence of Chen 3 in Period 9 is indicative of potential conflicts, disagreements, betrayal, and, in extreme cases, legal disputes, leading to financial loss. In either scenario, it results in wasted time, energy, and wealth, so be cautious, especially if your main door is located here. If possible, consider using an alternative entrance and exit. Hanging a Ba Gua wealth protection mirror will help to deflect any negative qi from the outside entering your home.

Avoid noisy renovations, redecoration, or ground disturbances, such as digging, foundation work, or loud maintenance, inside or outside your property or garden in this area for the month.

How to weaken the #3 star this month

 – During hot summer months, ensure that noisy portable air con units are not positioned in this area.

 – Enhance security measures for your home or business before the month begins, and check smoke alarms.

 – Analyse all documents and paperwork thoroughly before signing, especially if the main entrance is located here.

 – Aim to maintain a quiet environment here this month and avoid loud noises in this area.

 – Take care, as there could be potential betrayal when this star is activated, which can be subtle and unexpected.

 – Most importantly, refrain from disturbing the ground, both inside and outside.

 – Remember, this influence is a passing influence for the month, and by following this advice, you can navigate through it successfully.

East

Tui 7 Red (Po Jun) robbery star is a metal star and a yin trigram, which is known as the mischievous Po Jun #7 argumentative red star. and in period 9 (2024 – 2044), this is an inauspicious star which can cause many issues related to robbery, deception, arguments and overall bad luck this month. The trigram Tui is also known as’ Broken Soldier’. This is a fighting star which can cause problems if left alone, the #7 Red indicates a high risk of burglary, deception, copyright theft, gossip and backstabbing.

The monthly #7 star will be flying into the east during April along with the annual #9 star and although we have an auspicious visiting star, we can easily drain energy from this by introducing wood cures and potted plants, as this will also enhance the annual #9 star. Please be mindful that the Three Killings are located here for the year, and we will need to keep this area settled.

This is not a good area for anyone with a creative career, such as an artist or writer and is also not a good place for children studying (especially the youngest daughter and females in general), although please try not to worry as a calm environment along with the right cures will help to control this energy and avoid It being activated.

If your entrance door is located in this sector or a window that is large enough for someone to enter through, please make sure that you check over the security here and make upgrades as necessary. It would be wise to check smoke alarms, CO2 sensors and other safety devices that are located in this sector, also. Please take this advice seriously as I have been doing this a long time and I know when this combination meets it can cause many problems this month.

You should also hang a flat Ba Gua mirror with a Chinese i-ching coin on the back for added protection this month especially if you have a main door here.

I will repeat that it is very important to make sure that security is up to date and working correctly in your home and workplace as this star can bring security related issues when activated. Make sure that windows and doors are locked securely when leaving the building, and do not leave anything valuable on display by your windowsills.

It pays to be wise and avoid taking too many risks, for there may be unscrupulous people working against you. There are indications of misunderstandings, pressure and business rivalries that could also lead to losses. Keep this area quiet, and doors and windows kept closed this month.

Good colours to use in this sector this month are different shades of green to drain energy from this metal star or place plants here, although please limit this to 1, 3 or 4 plants together. Please avoid introducing any new fire and earth colours here this month, such as red, orange, burgundy, pink, lilac, beige, yellow, terracotta or brown. If you have an office or door in this area, be careful of people trying to deceive you, robbery, arguments and loss of wealth; always look at the very small print and be careful as this star normally causes problems with people who are close to you.

How to weaken the #7 star this month

 – Introduce different shades of green colours in your decoration. You can introduce the colour with cushions, rugs, bed covers or doormats.

 – Do not use anything of fire element or colours red to control it as this may aggravate it.

 – Avoid candles in this area at all costs.

 – Install or service/upgrade smoke alarms and security systems.

 – Potted plants will work well here, although make sure that you limit them to 1, 3, or 4 plants together in this sector.

 – Avoid crystal and earth colours in this area this month.

 – Do not hang metal wind chimes here.

Southeast

Ken 8 White Zuo Fu is an earth star and a yang Trigram and is still considered an auspicious star during period 9 (2024 – 2044); although not as strong as it was in period 8 it is still very useable. This star affects the hands, fingers, pancreas and back. It also affects wealth, career, and luck, and because it is timely in period 9, you can look forward to solid wealth and recognition luck when you activate this sector.

The monthly #8 star will be flying into the southeast palace during April, along with the annual #1 star, and to make the most of this influence, we will need to treat this area with care as although there will be two auspicious stars present, they are in conflict with each other.

To make the most of this area in April, you can leave your annual cures in place for the year and also introduce some earth colours to balance the energy. Try to avoid too large of an earth influence here this month such as a bed cover as this can destroy the energy from the auspicious annual #1 star although smaller items such as a pillow will be fine. Please avoid introducing any new metal in the east during April, as this will have a negative effect on the #8 star. If you are unsure on how to activate this area during April, the safest and easiest option is human interaction as this will help enhance both stars. Tai Sui is located in the southeast 2025, so please be sure to keep activity calm. 

Wealth, fame, romance, prestige and distinction can be expected, especially if you have an office or commonly used room located here for the month; even if you do not, you can still activate this area and reap the rewards. When this star is activated correctly, the #8 star can bring good fortune and exciting times for the month ahead. If you work with symbols, quartz crystals, crystal balls or hanging faceted crystals are very good to place here this month.

When activated, this influence can bring added responsibilities in your career, although please be aware that this could lead to added stress and workload, leading to stress resulting in high blood pressure or kidney problems. It is important that you maintain a good balance so that you are able to enjoy your rewards.

This cure and enhancer, when used, is a manifestation enhancer, and it is good to place an image that represents everything you want to achieve in life, an example to some would be a picture of a beautiful home that you desire, a male or female that you admire, a car like a Ferrari, Tesla or Mini, the number of children you would like, I think you are getting the picture by now, just create a dream board with all that you desire pinned to it or draw the image or you can even download some images from www.google.com this really is a very powerful way of manifesting your dreams and it really does work, remember to place the image in this area this month.

Couples with a bedroom in this location can also enjoy good relationships. There may also be a chance of producing intelligent children. Another traditional way to enhance fertility is to display peanuts in shells (groundnuts) or any seed products like black or red melon seeds (Gua zi). In Mandarin, peanuts are called ‘hua-sheng’ and for the Chinese this word is onomatopoeic in that the sound of it means the birth of many children. You should display them anywhere in the bedroom and of course, be careful if anyone in the home suffers from nut allergies.

During period 9, this sector will be treated as the relationship and romance sector, and we can expect very strong Peach Blossom luck when activating this sector. This is a great area to place a red Kwan Yin statue, a pair of rose quartz Mandarin ducks or a red Three-legged Toad.

Try to place photos of loved ones and anything of importance from your significant other here this month as this can help activate Peach Blossom luck.

Do not place heavy metal or plants in this area of your home or office this month, as it will weaken the good earth. Please avoid any colours related to the metal and wood elements such as green, gold, silver, copper, bronze etc.

Once you activate this area it is a very strong wealth, success and romance area for the month so try and store your important financial papers here like pensions, stock portfolio etc.

How to enhance the #8 star this month

 – Hang a small faceted crystal sphere in this area. Hang it above head height and twist now and again.

 – Try to place a vision board here to help manifest your goals into reality.

 – The energies of the monthly 8 can be activated by human activities. Use this room as frequently as possible unless you have received professional advice against it.

 – A small red three-legged toad can be placed here this month. Make sure the toad is facing into the house and not towards the door and the coin is never taken out of his mouth.

 – Place photos of loved ones here along with any treasured objects from your significant other

 – If your bedroom is located here, you can also place an amethyst or any crystal items in the area of the bedroom to further strengthen the earth element of the benevolent 8.

 – This is also a good study area for children. Place a task light and a crystal globe on the desk to enhance concentration.

 – A powerful romance enhancer is a pair of Mandarin Ducks or red Kwan Yin statue in this area this month.

 – Keep area active with open windows and doors (yang energy).

This is a lovely influence for the month and if you follow all this advice here your month will be just fine.

South

Sun 4 green Wen Qu romance and literacy star is a wood star. It affects the thighs, hip, buttock, bladder, and liver and can cause colds and flu and during period 9 (2024 – 2044), this is considered an inauspicious star which will require care and attention in order to avoid issues related to romance, friendship, career, general wellbeing and focus.

In April 2025, the monthly #4 star will fly into the south, along with the annual #6 and luckily, this is an easy area to treat for the month. If you have your annual cures and enhancers in place, you can leave this area as it is; the earth element from cures like the Sheng chi cure will help to drain energy from the monthly #4 and if you have metal in the south, this can stay in place although it may be worth removing any large metal colours or objects that can easily be moved. Please do not use fire cures and candles for the #4 star during April, as this will destroy the auspicious energy of the annual #6 star.

The #4 star can bring romance and social problems this month when this star is activated and should be treated carefully with earth cures to weaken the inauspicious influence of this star this month. During period 8, this was an auspicious star, and we were enhancing this with wood and water cures, although please do not use these colours and elements during period 9, as this is a quick way to strengthen the malevolent influence of this star.

You may have read that the #4 star is still auspicious during period 9, and while this star still has some auspicious qualities and can be used to enhance relationship prospects, this requires expert knowledge from a Feng Shui master. Please avoid trying to activate the #4 star this month unless you have an extremely good understanding of the fixed stars in your home and the formations surrounding the area.

To weaken this area, we can introduce earth colours here this month such as yellow, brown, beige, terracotta etc, or if you prefer to work with shapes, this is a great area for square objects. Please do not introduce shades of green, black, blue or grey here as this will enhance the #4 star; if you already have these colours in place and cannot remove them, try to balance the energy by introducing the advised colours above.

If you have any poison arrows located outside of this sector, such as a lamp post, pylon, large corners of a building pointing towards you or general menacing look objects, it would be wise to place a Ba Gua wealth protection mirror here this month to deflect any negative energy that is coming towards your home.

If you have an entrance door located here, please be careful not to slam this door too often as this will likely activate the inauspicious #4 stars energy to bring love, relationship, social and career issues.

If you have an office or important room located here for the month, the ideal situation would be to relocate to a more auspicious sector, although if this is not possible, try to keep this area relaxed and introduce earth colours to control this energy.

Try to avoid too many family photos in this area unless you have the relevant cures in place as mentioned here, as this could lead to conflict with others. Small crystals can be placed here for the month, although please avoid having anything too large, such as an Amethyst geode statue. Please avoid too much metal in this area, as this will aggravate the #4 stars influence.

How to weaken the #4 star this month

 – If you have a bedroom or office here, you can place a lamp with a beige throw here to control the energy of the #4 star.

 – Avoid displaying very large metal objects here especially large heavy ornaments.

 – Introduce small crystals here to drain energy from the #4 star.

Southwest

Ch’ien 6 White The star of Heaven star (Wu Qu) is a compassionate money star and a yang Trigram, and it affects the lungs, large intestines and head and can impact the Patriarch (eldest male) although on the whole it is considered an auspicious star.

We have the monthly #6 star fly into the southwest palace along with the annual #8 star during April, and to make use of both of these stars, the best option is to introduce crystals and earth cures in this palace for the month. You can use small traditional metal cures to enhance the #6 star, although please avoid placing large metal here, as this will weaken the annual #8 star.

The Ch’ien metal 6 is a conditional star and is auspicious in Period 9 (2024 – 2044). Technically, this star is losing its strength as an auspicious star during period 9, although we can still make very good use of this auspicious energy when it is activated with the right cures and enhancers. When activated correctly, the #6 star governs wealth, leadership, success and ambition and is a very good area for politicians, leaders and anyone involved in the jewellery business to spend time in this sector this month.

If you have a main door or important room fall into this area, this is very good news as human movement can help to activate and strengthen the beneficial energy that this star can bring to a home or workplace over the next few weeks.

To activate the #6 star during April, the best element to introduce to this area is earth cures or colours such as beige, yellow, terracotta or brown. Please avoid placing water, fire or wood cures and colours here this month, such as red, orange, burgundy, purple, lilac, green, black, grey or blue, as this will weaken or destroy this auspicious influence. If you already have these colours and cannot easily remove them, try to balance them with similar amounts of earth colours.

This is a great area for crystals this month as this will help to activate the #6 star, bringing career and business opportunities. Please avoid candles and plants in this sector.

Although the #6 star can bring accomplishments and progress, having this star located in a bedroom can bring problems related to the throat, legs and/or breathing; this is especially so for the eldest male and males in general of the household. If you have a bedroom located here and cannot move out of this room, please introduce water cures along with blue, black, grey or charcoal colours to weaken the influence of the #6 star.

How to enhance the #6 star this month

 – If you have a bedroom that falls into this area, introduce shades of blue or black in your furnishing or décor to help with health this month. A blue painting (not a water scene) may also do.

 – Avoid plants and flowers in this area this month

 – Place a set of six coins in a row in this area; these are very traditional and powerful cures.

 – Real quartz crystals are very good in this area for the month, as are faceted crystal spheres.

 – Avoid colours red and candles in this area this month

This is a lovely influence for the month and if you follow all this advice here your month will be just fine.

West

Kun 2 Black (Ju Men) is an earth star and a yin Trigram. It affects the stomach, digestive, general sickness and problems with thought processes. During period 9, the #2 is considered auspicious and while we can see benefits from this star, we will need to apply care in the first few years of period 9.

The monthly #2 star will fly into the west during April, along with the annual #4 star. To keep this area settled, I would introduce an equal balance of small earth along with metal. Try to avoid just introducing metal on its own, as this will destroy the annual #4, causing problems.

To enhance the #2 star in the early stages of period 9 up until 2028, I would recommend placing a mix of earth cures alongside metal cures so that we do not introduce too much yang energy into this area early on. The #2 has gone from an inauspicious star to a lucky one, and while we can still activate this and get great results with health and wealth prospects, my opinion is that this energy must be handled with care in the early stages of period 9. A good cure in this stage is to place crystals in a metal bowl or dish to balance the energy as this will feed the inherent energy of the #2 earth star while also controlling the energy with metal being introduced.

After 2028, this area can be enhanced with fire and earth cures, and a great way to activate this star would be to use an oil burner made from an earth element like ceramic in this sector. You can introduce fire and earth colours such as brown, yellow, terracotta, beige, red, orange, purple, burgundy, pink and lilac after the early stage of period 9.

When activated correctly, this star can bring good health, relationship and wealth prospects this month, and if you follow the advice above, this can be a lovely area for a commonly used room. As the #2 star went from an inauspicious star to an auspicious star, I would keep this area tranquil for the first few years of period 9 and avoid using this room for any physical exercise.

Although the #2 has become auspicious in period 9, if you notice that any occupants of the home or workplace suffer from stomach pains or illness, it would be wise to introduce metal here to see if this relieves the problem; this is especially so if the Matriarch (eldest female) suffers this month.

If you have an office located here for the month, a fantastic cure at any point of period 9 is to use a brown coloured mouse and keyboard pad; for my own office, I use a brown imitation leather pad at my desk to introduce the earth element, which I purchased from Amazon.

Try to avoid too many metal colours on their own in this area as this will weaken the auspicious energy here; these colours are usually gold, silver, copper, bronze etc. The safest option for this area is to use earth colours at any point in period 9, although you can also introduce fire colours safely after 2028 as a general guide, although if the fixed Flying star analysis recommends using fire colours in this sector, this will be fine to introduce here as the energy will be dispersed between the fixed and monthly stars.

How to enhance the #2 star this month

 – Before 2028, enhance this area with a blend of metal and earth cures and colours.

 – After 2028, enhance this area with fire and earth cures and colours.

 – Avoid metal colours on their own in this sector.

 – This is a good area to store paperwork and financial documents

 – Avoid too much physical movement in this area during the early stages of period 9.

 – Place a Ba Gua mirror in this area outside this month if you have any poison arrows towards this sector.
