What does 2022, the year of the Yang Water Tiger (Ren Yin) have in store for us with regards to Feng Shui and Chinese astrology?
2022 will be the year of (Ren Yin) the Yang Water Tiger, which starts on February 1st 2022 and ends on January 22nd 2023 when the yin water Rabbit Gui Mao begins and we use the Chinee animal Zodiac to predict the year ahead.
Of the five elements system, Wu Xing, the colour black is associated with the water element, and 2022 is also known as the black water Tiger and people born in the Tiger years 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998 and 2010 will have a Ben Ming Nian (本命年) year and need to be careful and follow all the advice on this website and place the annual Feng Shui cures and enhancers.
2022 is expected to be a turbulent year with many ups and downs and fantastic opportunities to create new wealth.

The last two years have been extremely challenging for most of us with regards to health, finances and general mental health, and although some of us will face some form of challenge during 2022, I am personally hopeful that this will be a much smoother sailing year ahead, and personally, I am looking forward to it, but I do think that I will have to expect many changes as we get closer to period 9 in 2024.

Last year, the Goat was the conflict animal for the year of the Ox, and I am sure that there will be Goats who will be eagerly awaiting the year of the Tiger to begin on February 3rd 2022, although I know many Goats (My wife included) that enjoyed a fantastic year of the Ox as they were prepared early with regards to the Flying Star (Xuan Kong) recommendations and also their Chinese animal prediction for the year ahead.
