I have a 36 inch long carved dragon which I have mounted on my living room wall(northwest corner) with the head facing downward towards the floor. Is this good or bad? Do I need to reverse the mounting with the head pointing towards the ceiling? Please advise!

Dear Michael, I know you are extremely busy, but one small question, regarding what you mean in your Annual analysis for 2008 where you show how to find the palaces . you say place the Lo Shu grid over one’s plan and in the example the 5 falls into the West – further on you say that the 5 is in the South. dO Not understand, my house is SW2 so where will the 5 be this year? Keep up the good stuff, would like more news on the blog Kind regards from France, Sarah

Hi Sarah, The annual #5 falls in the south this year, in the west we have the #3 star. The chart where you see the #5 star in the west is just an example how to use the lo shu grid (aka tic-tac-toe). Hope this helps Sarah Warm regards Michael

Hi there Michael, I to no that you are very busy but I have a burning question that requires your guidance. I have tried to get the four crystals to make up the Four Pillars Taiyang Crystal Enhancer from our local crystal shop, I have managed to get the jasper yellow, citrine and tiger iron but cannot get the verdite, to replace the verdite they suggested I use Hematite, is that OK or is there another stone I should try to get to replace the Verdite. I would really like to have this enhancer in place but cannot afford to buy it over the internet due to a low (not very good) kiwi dollar. I look forward to hearing from you and thanks so much for a brilliant web site! I live by the advice. Cheers Raellen p.s I am having trouble receiving the monthly newsletter, I dont no why I’m not receiving it, have I done something wrong in the sign up?

Hi Michael, Thanks for maintaining such a resourceful site with easy to implement remedies for feng shui related problem. I have been searching for a long time for a way to sell an irregular piece of land. Though I found few interesting ways like putting up a image of bird carrying the price in front of home and lighting up home in back for selling it fast. But I didn’t find any way to sell plain land without any structure built on it. Please let me know how can I sell my land really fast and at a good price. Waiting for your reply. Warm Regards, Deepak

Dear Michael, First of all, Happy Lunar New Year! I have a question regarding the lo shu grid. How do I use the grid when it comes to long rectangular shaped apartments? How do i place the grid and do i omit a level? (i.e 9,5,7 or 4,6,2) I’m confused as to whether i compress the grid so it fits into my house plan, if thats the case then one room will have 9,8,4 if you get what im saying? Sorry if the question is too complex! best regards, Marco

Dear Michael, Can I place the Master Cure in the dog’s water bowl (metal) as I automatically change the water every single day and therefore know its clean and yin. Regards Sarah

Hi Sarah, Sadly the bog bowl will not be good as it will become yang (moving) water when the dog is drinking from it and this may cause skin problems for the dog and even the people living in the home. Michael
