What do we do with this information?

In every building, there are good and bad palaces which affect our daily lives. How and who gets affected (good or bad) depends on who occupies which area of the home or business. The best Cure is to be aware of the influences each month and know how to capitalise on the beneficial energies or avoid the unfavourable influences either through enhancers or cures or avoidance. Knowing the effects of the influences allows us to take appropriate measures and actions to calm interactions.

So, do not get too worried when you come across a particularly bad sector – sometimes with thought, care and the appropriate elements, we can balance any conflict of energies or compensate the lack of an element to bring harmony to a palace. If a palace is particularly bad, avoidance is the best cure. Please do not panic when you find that your bedroom is located in an affected sector for the month. This is only a temporary influence and can be avoided.

• Use the beneficial areas more and the areas of negative influences less. For example, if the living room is affected by conflicting energies, try not to play loud music in this room for the month. By keeping the area quiet, you successfully manipulate the effect of the energies.
• If possible, use another door if your main door is affected this month.
• Use the good sectors to solve existing problems whether they concern relationships or money matters.

If your main door is affected and this is the only door you have on your property, you should take extra care in what you do during the affected month. You will know it may not be a good time to take risks and also to take extra care of your health.

Xuan Kong Flying Stars March 2020:

From the 5th of March to the 3rd of April 2020 is the second month Ji Mao (Yin Earth Rabbit) of the Geng Zi year (Yang Metal Rat) with the ruling energy of #7 in the central grid.

In March, we have the annual and monthly flying stars match which will create double energy in the 9 sectors. If you already have your annual cures and enhancers in place for the year, there is nothing that will need to be changed this month although if you do not have your cures in place, please follow the advice below very carefully, especially if you have a living room, office, or bedroom in the south, north, east, or centre in March.

As we have the annual and monthly stars match up, I have copied in the annual advice for 2020 as this is the best advice you can read for March.

Kan 1 White In 2020, Kan trigram is in the northeast 

Kan #1 is a water element. In the physical body, it is the ear. Internal organ it is the kidneys, and it is also blood. It also affects career and luck.

In the year of the Rat, as of the 4^th of February 2020, the annual #1 water star Kan (Tan Lang) has flown into the northeast of every home, office, and building around the world. The inherent energy of the northeast is water which will be draining energy from the visiting annual star, and we will need to introduce some powerful cures to maximise the visiting energy in this area in 2020.

The northeast is especially important for the youngest male of the household and all males in general, although it is still extremely important for females. To activate the northeast and enhance wealth, relationship, and career luck, we will need to introduce metal along with two very powerful cures – a FuXi Dual Dragon bell and a  to make sure the northeast is as rewarding as it can be this year.

The main cure that you should place in the northeast is the FuXi Dual Dragon bell as this is a very powerful and traditional cure and enhancer to enhance and protect the annual #1 future wealth star. When placed in your home or office, the Dual Dragon bell can generate new opportunities for the occupants and create results in financial investments, academic achievements and also enhance romance and relationships. If you have a bedroom in the northeast this year and the bed falls into this sector, I would recommend placing a brass Wu Lou talisman here to protect and enhance wealth.

Please do not place any fire colours in the northeast in 2020 as this will drain the energy of the annual #1 star and could cause a loss of wealth. If you already have fire colours in the northeast and cannot remove them, I would make sure that you introduce some strong water colours along with metal cures to balance the energies.

If you are using furniture and ornaments in the northeast  I would try choosing objects with waves and ripples as this represents the water element and will work very well here this year.

Enhancement summary and advice for the #1 visiting the northeast in 2020

• If you have a bedroom in the northeast, I would place a brass Wu Lou next to your bed and also introduce a blue, black, grey or charcoal duvet cover, throw or pillows.
• If you cannot afford to purchase a wu lou, you should place a heavy round object close to your bed; a quick, easy cure is to place a good quality frying pan under your bed for the year.

Kun 2 Black  In 2020, the Kun 2 Black (Ju Men) visits the south

The south is a very nasty area in 2020 as we have not only the annual #2 star fly in, we also have the Three Killings and Sui Po in the same compass sector which can bring financial and illness problems to all occupants of the home or office, especially middle daughter and females in general although this will still effect all males and will need some extremely powerful cures along with peace.

When we weaken the annual #2 star in the south we can greatly weaken the chances of disturbing this area and activating the malicious effects of Sui Po and the Three Killings, which can cause issues relating to wealth, disease, stress, illness, back stabbing and overall bad luck in 2020.

The annual #2 star is one of the worst stars in period eight and when combined with the other annual afflictions, this area will need to be treated with some very powerful metal cures in 2020 if you are to avoid problems. It is important that the south is treated carefully during the year of the Rat and that the area is not activated with loud noise, banging or drilling. The south will need to be treated with the appropriate cures and enhancers if we are to avoid problems in this area.

If your home or office has a front door in the south in 2020, it is very important that you do not slam the door and if possible, I would suggest that you install a soft close hinge, as loud noises can activate the maleficent effects of the Three Killings and Sui Po. You must also aim to avoid any internal doors or windows being slammed in this area and avoid digging or renovating your property in this area at all costs. One of the most important cures that you can place in your home or office is to place a Juan Kuan offering plate (aka wealth vase) in the south of your home, office, or building. Please do not introduce any red colours in the south during the year of the Rat and at all costs, avoid using candles in this area as this will aggravate the malevolent effects of the annual #2 star. If you have any red colours in the south that cannot be removed this year, such as a red sofa, do not worry too much and be sure to introduce some strong metal colours and cures such as a silver or white throw over the sofa. Good metal colours to use in the south this year are white, silver, gold, bronze or copper.

Placing a Metal Wu Lou beside your bed is a good cure if you have no option but to sleep in the south of your home this year as this symbolises good health and dissipates the negative energy of the #2 star.

The best treatment for the south of your home or office during 2020 is to place a Juan Kuan offering plate, salt water cure and six Chinese coins tied with red ribbon. I would also recommend introducing some metal cures in the south as of the 4^th of February 2020 such as a metal Wu Lou, singing bowl or other good quality metal objects although please make sure that they are smooth in shape and do not use any menacing or pointy objects as this will be counterproductive.

The best cure for the south in 2020 is an avoidance of the area altogether which is near impossible to do, but if you are fortunate enough to be able to avoid 1/9^th of your home, I would still recommend placing the cures for 2020.

Now having given you all this bad news, I will now give some hope for those who are Gua 2, 6, 7 or 8 as while this combination, on the whole, is very bad, it can be good for them in wealth and career, you would still be wise to place the recommended cures as detailed here but the effects of the #2 black will not be bad for you and can even give you positive results.

Please be sure to keep the south of your home or office as quiet as possible during 2020. • If you do not wish to use traditional Feng Shui cures, you can use any metal ornament as long as it is not sharp or aggressive looking. Although not as effective, believe it or not, a good cure is a round metal dog bowl or weight lifters weights.
• Hang six Chinese coins tied in red ribbon.
• A good quality brass wealth ingot is good for protecting wealth in the south this year.
• A metal singing bowl is very good to place in your home or office.
• Please keep this area as quiet as possible during 2020.
• Place a gold coloured three-legged Toad with an i-ching coin underneath.
• Place a Wu Lou and other metal ornaments to dissipate the negative earth.
• Avoid using red colour in this room and refrain from displaying a triangle shape or fiery pictures.
• Avoid candles or bright lights at all costs. Check or upgrade smoke alarms and other fire prevention methods.

From the 4^th of February 2020, the annual #3 star will fly into every home, office, and building around the world and the inherent water energy of the north will be feeding the inauspicious wood star; we will need to treat the north carefully during the year of the Rat in order to avoid theft, a loss of wealth, arguments, disputes, legal issues and stress.

The north is especially afflicted in 2020 as we have Tai Sui fall into the area, making this a very risky area that will require treating along with peace.

If you have a bedroom or office in the north during 2020, it is especially important that you follow the advice below as human interaction can activate the #3 stars influence; this is very important for the middle son of the household and all males in general. Please do not panic if you will be spending a lot of time in the north throughout the year as this area can be treated with the relevant cures and enhancers for 2020 to avoid issues that the #3 star can bring.

If the north of your home or office has a front door please make sure that the door is never slammed as this will likely activate the malevolent effects of Tai Sui. I would also recommend taking care of internal doors and windows in the north this year and avoid excessive noise both inside and out.

It is also wise to avoid digging and renovation in the north of your home or office during the year of the Rat as this will anger Tai Sui and cause problems. The traditional method to appease Tai Sui is to place a Lu Mi Tai Sui plaque to pay respect and appease the deity. By paying respect to Tai sui, you can avoid the problems that are prevalent with this annual affliction. These are two key cures for the north in 2020 although please do not worry if you cannot afford these; there are a lot of other options you can implement to weaken the troubles that Tai sui can bring.

The worst thing you could do in the north from the 4^th February 2020 to the 3^rd February 2021 would be to take on any ground-breaking work such as replace window or door frames, knock through an internal wall, build an extension, lay a patio or other similar work. My general rule of thumb for small jobs such as hammering a nail to hang a picture or drill a hole is to minimise as much noise as you can; if you can use a manual hand drill, it is better to be safe than sorry.

To remedy the effects of the annual #3 star flying in to the north in 2020, I would recommend introducing red decorations and colours in to the north for the year. Some easy ways to introduce these colours are a red floor mat, cushions or sofa throw. You can also introduce candles, lamps and lights in to the north for the year to weaken the bad wood star.

You should not place any metal into the north in 2020 to control this energy as this will aggravate the annual #3 star; metal colours are ok to use but please do not use too much.

Water features should not be used in the north in 2020 unless you have a good understanding of the fixed flying stars of your property as this can bring arguments, wealth issues, divorce and legal problems in to your life; unless you take your land formations, period, mountain and water stars in to account, please be very careful.

You may have read in some books or on websites where they say that the #3 wood star can be a good one in period 8 (2004-2024) but in my opinion, it is an extremely unpredictable star, and you should not try to activate it unless you know what you are doing with regards to the flying stars or the Academy of Feng Shui software has advised you to do so.

• Place a light in the north of your home. If you have a choice, a lamp with a wooden stand and a peach/red shade is better. Try to leave it on whenever you are using the room.
• Do not place wind chimes of any material in the north as this will make matters worse.
• Take extra security measures for the whole home or business during 2020 and check smoke alarms regularly.

The Sun 3 wood star flies into the southwest as of the 4^th of February 2020 and can bring bring a lovely influence to your home or office when activated correctly. The #4 is a conditional star, and in period 8 (2004 – 2024), it is an auspicious star. The #4 star governs love, relationships, career, travel, creativity, academic, and self-development prospects, making this a very powerful area to enhance in 2020.

Although the #4 star is relationship star, please do not think that this cannot be useful in the workplace; when activated correctly, the southwest can bring fantastic career prospects and boost productivity in the work place.

To enhance this beautiful influence, you should place a Jiangongliye Wealth and wish enhancer in the southwest of your home or office during 2020. When using colours in the southwest this year, please avoid using fire colours such as red, pink and purple and please try to avoid lighting candles in the southwest as this will weaken the good influence.

The 5 Yellow In 2020 – The annual 5 Yellow Lian Zhen star of tragedy is located in the east palace.

In 2020, the east of every building around the world will be affected by the malevolent effects of the annual #5 earth star and if left untreated can cause problems to all occupants ranging from a major illness, accidents, fatalities or bankruptcy so please make sure you treat the east with the appropriate cures for 2020. The east is going to need some good quality metal cures this year and will need to be kept calm and quiet to avoid activating this inauspicious star.

Although the east will be a very afflicted area during 2020, please do not feel that there is no solution to this; with Feng Shui, there is always a way to manage or dissipate an inauspicious star, and if you place the relevant cures and keep the area calm and settled, you can avoid activating this area  and avoid any problems that the annual #5 star can bring.

Part of Michael and Jo’s kitchen is in the east of their home, and like most homes, this is the central hub with visitors sitting around and chatting at the kitchen table, and they will generally spend a lot of time in there so for 2020, they will be taking the following steps to ensure they can still use this area and avoid problems –

• Place a Salt water cure on the kitchen worktop
• I will be gifting them some of my weightlifting plates to place under the kickboards
• They will be hanging Six Chinese i-ching coins In a row in the east to weaken the #5 star
• They will be avoiding orange, purple, lilac, pink, burgundy and red decorations and tea towels in the east as this would feed the bad earth star and cause problems
• I am sure that Jo will be getting new tea towels in metal colours to hang on the oven door.
• They will be hanging a Six rod hollow metal wind chime in the east for 2020

If the east of your home or office falls into a bedroom, office or other important room such as a living room, it is very important that this area is treated similarly to the steps above as human interaction will make this area very more likely to be activated. If you have a main door in the east, please make sure that you follow the advice for this year and ensure that the door is not slammed shut as this will activate the negative effects of the annual #5. Peace, along with strong metal cures, will help avoid the effects of this star.

If you can, please avoid any renovation or ground breaking; this includes building an extension, knocking through an internal wall, laying a patio, replacing a bathroom suite and all other similar activities. If you have no choice but to carry out work this year, please try to do this when we have an auspicious monthly star fly into the east which would be in February, April, July, August, September, November, and January 2021.

My general rule of thumb when carrying out small tasks in a minor area such as hammering a nail to hang a picture or drill a hole is to minimise as much noise as you can; if you can use a manual hand drill, it is better to be safe than sorry.

If you would prefer not to use traditional Feng Shui cures in 2020, please do not worry as there is still a lot of ways to weaken the negative influence of the annual #5 star this year. I would recommend some good quality, heavy metal into the east of your home or office such as a stainless-steel dog bowl and weight lifting plates. Good shapes are items made from metal that are round. Please make sure that you don’t disturb the east with any noisy activities, renovations or maintenance work. Houses with gardens to this corner of the property should avoid disturbing the ground with major digging or building work in the east.

A pendulum chiming clock in the east is a very effective cure this year, and while this contradicts what I said about keeping the area quiet, the chiming sound of the clock is as important as the moving metal of the pendulum.
