Are you prepared for 2005?

Those born in the year of the Rabbit may be affected by the conflicting influences of the year of the Rooster. In saying this, we hope that those born in the year of the Rabbit are aware of potential difficulties they may encounter during the year and take extra care in whatever they do without taking undue risks. The degree of influence varies from one person to another. One of the major considerations is the heavenly stem of the year in which one was born.

The forecast for Rabbit may be unfavourable but remember this is only one small influence in the big scheme of things in life. Things can turn out well despite this if you turn your attention to the monthly forecast on the energies of the space you occupy in your home and office in order to soften predicaments.

The positioning of the flying stars for the year is much more beneficial and easier to manipulate than that of last year. The respective palaces that house unfavourable stars have some form of control over the elements but cures should still be in place to negate these undesirable influences from being triggered by visiting equally unfavourable stars. The palaces to be aware of are the east and northwest and, to a certain degree, the northeast. Avoidance is the best cure but we must appreciate that some of us are not blessed with a spacious abode. Therefore we have included the appropriate elemental cures and enhancers below for the Flying Stars of 2005 within the individual palaces.

Please do not start worrying if your bedroom or office are located in the east or northwest, just start preparing to place your 2005 cures and enhancers kit to ensure a trouble free year 2005, and of course make sure you sign up for our free monthly newsletter so you are kept up to date with the monthly flying stars giving you even more control of your destiny.

One other way is to use our annual 2005 Tong Shu (Almanac). This book is exceptional and has been skilfully and meticulously written and translated to ensure you a good year in 2005. Look for the links below for more details.

Many books or websites will tell you too throw away or bury your old wind chimes, six coins, Pi Yao, wu lou, and Dragon Headed Tortoise etc from the previous year because they store so much negative energy. This is not necessary as long as you cleanse the items before replacing for the new Chinese year. To cleanse them ideally you should place outside under a full moon overnight or in direct sunlight for at least 4 hours and sprinkle with rock salt. Rinse under water in the morning and place them in the appropriate areas. This does not apply to the salt water cure, as this MUST be renewed every year without exception. As with all our products including these annual cures kits, they are all cleansed of negative energy and empowered with positive Sheng Ch’i energy, which makes them so much more effective.

Many people write in asking if we personally change our cures and enhancers kit each year as nearly all websites and books say you should throw them away each year. Our circumstances are different to yours, we have thousands of these cures and enhancers in our warehouse but we have never changed our Wu Lou (14 years old) or Tsai Shen Yeh (4 years old), We change our wind chime every couple of years, the salt water cure we change without fail and I must admit the six Chinese coins tied in a row with red ribbon we always change and our Ba Gua mirror yearly as these are very bad to keep for too long.

My advice is even if you have our kit from five years ago, carry on using it but follow the advice above about cleansing and make sure the salt water cure (must replace) and maybe six coins are replaced as these hold a lot of negative energy. Please never throw your Wu Lou away these are specially made for us and are the correct weight and size and I think they are a work of art.

So what is flying star (Xuan Kong)?

Flying star (Xuan Kong) Feng Shui is the most powerful form that most professional Practitioners use; it has absolutely nothing to do with astrology. It is an analysis of the five elements, land formations and star combinations that occupy your building. Each Chinese New Year these annual stars change, bringing good and bad energy.

Every year and month we give accurate information of how you can suppress or enhance the sectors of your home or office. Every building throughout the world will have these changing annual stars and you will need to take into account their ability to cause harm ranging from, sickness, wealth problems, legal problems, gossip, relationship problems and just overall bad luck and of course their ability to give auspicious good luck in wealth, health, romance, education and overall good well being. Unless a good star is activated it is of no benefit to you so follow our advice carefully.

Sample of a Flying Star chart

· 2005 is the 4702nd year of the Chinese calendar.

Due to the eight hours difference in the time zone between China and GMT, the start of spring for Asia and Europe differs by a day this year. In China, the solar calendar of the Yi You (Wood Rooster) year starts on 4th February 2005 at 01:44. In GMT, the new solar year starts on 3rd February 2005 at 17.44.

So to confirm if you live in the UK you would put your cures and enhancers in place on 3rd February 2005 at 17.44 and in California (USA) you would place your cures on 3rd February 2005 at 10.44. The times were correct at time of writing 23 November 2004 but it is worth checking with http://www.worldtimeserver.com

  • The first day of the Hsia (solar) calendar is February 4th 2005
  • The Wood Rooster year ends February 3rd 2006.
  • Chinese New Year falls on February 9th 2005.

The Annual Feng Shui Afflictions:

The Three Killings – is a direct translation from the Chinese ‘San Sha’. This yearly affliction is in the East (53º to 128.5º). It is imperative that you do not undertake any form of noisy renovations or re-decorative work in this part of your house between February 4th and February 3rd 2006. Nor should you disturb the ground by digging holes, building foundation or conduct any maintenance work with any noisy equipment in this area inside or outside your property or garden. Once disturbed, this affliction can bring about three types of misfortunes – financial loss, sickness and arguments.

Apart from not disturbing its ground, there are two other rules you should follow regarding the Three Killings. Firstly, if you are moving your desk around this year, never sit with your back to this direction. Secondly, it is better to face this direction, especially if this is one of your four favourable personal directions. A Chinese traditional antidote is to place a Laughing Buddha in the east sector of your office or living room of your home. Use a metal (brass) Buddha in the east to tame the annual #2 this year.

If your front door faces the east, place a pair of Pi Yao’s just inside the house as protective guardians for the year.

Tai Sui (The Grand Duke of Jupiter) resides between 262.5º – 277.5º west. Do not take this affliction lightly. Do not disturb the ground of this area at all costs. West facing properties with front doors to the west must be careful not to allow the doors to slam.

If you are moving furniture around this year, especially your work desk, it is vital that you must never sit facing this 15º sector (west). If you confront Tai Sui, you will experience defeat, demotion, loss and any venture will be met with obstacles. Instead, sit with your back to this sector and he will support you. Avoidance is the best cure.

The traditional Chinese method is to place a Pi Yao or dragon headed tortoise in the east sector of your home or office facing west where Tai Sui sits to appease him. Use a compass and take the reading from the middle of the home to place the dragon headed tortoise accurately to face the 15º radius.

The Annual Five Yellow has flown to the northwest this year. Although tamed by the metal of the northwest, it is highly recommended not to disturb its position here with noisy activities, renovations or maintenance work. Houses with gardens to this corner of the property should avoid disturbing the ground with major digging or building work. When disturbed, the Five Yellow can bring disaster, sickness, lawsuit and major loss of wealth. Do be careful with it.

The remedy is to hang a six rods metal wind chime and a salt water cure in the northwest corner of the room.

Please do not start worrying if your bedroom or office are located in the North-west, just start preparing to place your 2005 cures and enhancers kit to ensure a trouble free year 2005, and of course make sure you sign up for our free monthly newsletter so you are kept up to date with the monthly flying stars giving you even more control of your destiny.

How far do you take this no digging or no noisy equipment?

What if your garden is in the east or west? Does this mean no cutting the lawn or cutting back the trees with a noisy hedge trimmer in 2005? Of course you have to do these jobs and if you cannot avoid building work or digging, follow the following two rules to reduce any harm that may result.

  • Place a six-rod metal wind chime between your house and building work whilst the work is being done.
  • Start trimming or mowing from a different corner of the garden. Let us say your garden is in the east of the property. You should remember to start your garden work from the south corner of the garden.

This may seem extreme but believe me; I will be doing it next year every time I cut the lawn as part of my garden falls into the west.

2005 Annual Flying Stars:

The analysis of the annual flying stars can only be conducted from a general point of view offering indications as to the influences of the stars in the respective palaces for the year.

How each sector affects the wealth and health aspects of the residents depends greatly on the quality and combination of the ‘facing’ and ‘sitting’ stars of the property’s natal chart. If you have had a consultation by Michael or Sallie they will be able to advise you better for 2005.

Kan 1 White In 2005, Kan 1 White is in the Southwest.

In element Kan is water. In the physical body, it is the ear. Internal organ it is the kidneys and it is also blood.

Kan water #1 in a strong earth southwest denotes health may be an issue especially if this is a bedroom. There may be problems to the ear. If this falls into your bedroom you should place a Wu-Lou beside your bed. Career and business-wise will be good though if you have a door or office here.

Children with bedroom in this sector of the house may encounter hearing difficulties which may affect studies. Make sure they have the necessary health checks. Blue may be a good colour scheme for the room. Blue can also be used in beddings, throw-over, lampshades etc… If their bed is also located in this corner of the room, remember to place a brass wu-lou in the southwest corner of the bedroom. If this is also a study area for children or adults, place a metal abacus in the southwest corner of the study.

Those under this influence and who like a drink or two may find their drinking habits exacerbates this year which may lead to kidney problems. Beware of this influence and moderate your consumption of alcohol.

Career and business-wise; those with an office here or business, shops or offices with a door located to this southwest palace will do well but may go through problematic moments. Success can be achieved only with dedications and hard work. To enhance success, the traditional way is to place a metal abacus and/or a round 12 coin ball with red tassel. This is a very powerful enhancer for the #1 star for wealth luck.

If this is a study for children or those pursuits in academic, place a Kwan Yin in the southwest corner of the study.

If your main door falls into the southwest you should place a six hollow metal rod wind chime along with a 12 coin ball to activate the #1 star.

Pregnant ladies, elders or people recovering from sickness should avoid this room if possible. The south is a better room as a bedroom. If space is a problem, then make sure that the bed is located in a good sector of the room being the south, north or west corners. Place a brass wu-lou on the southwest corner of the bed.

Summary for year:

Good months are March, June, August, October and December.

Take extra care of health, particularly with pregnancies, in the months of February, May and July.

Cure and enhancement summary

Hang a six rods hollow metal wind chime here if this is your front door.

A brass Wu-Lou would be a good cure for a bedroom along with blue colours.

Place a metal abacus and or a round metal wealth pot filled with coins on your office desk if your office is also in the southwest sector.

If this is a study, an abacus will help enhance studies.

Hang a 12 coin ball tied with red ribbon; this is a very powerful wealth enhancer and perfect for the SW.

Tsai Shen Yeh (God of wealth) in a gold colour is very good for protecting and enhancing your wealth for the year in the SW. It must be gold colour though to represent metal.

Kun 2 Black In 2005, the Kun 2 Black visits the east.

During the year 2005, when the annual 2 Black combines with any untimely visiting monthly stars, the chi manifested from this combination can affect us negatively. The degree of influence varies according to the function of that particular sector. If this is your front door, the use of this sector on a daily basis will inevitably activate its malevolent effects. On the other hand, if this is your storeroom or bathroom, this sector can be quite harmless.

You need place a salt water cure, Wu Lou and six Chinese coins tied with red ribbon and also place more round metal decorative objects (provided they are not menacing looking, round shape metal is good) to dissipate its negative influence in the east corner of your home or room.

Tsai Shen Yeh (God of wealth) in a gold colour is very effective at not only reducing the bad earth but by also protecting your wealth for the year. Make sure there are no red items, bright lights or burning candles in this area. Do not worry if you have these colours already just introduce colours white, silver, gold or copper in the way of a floor mat, cushions, throws, tablecloth or such like. If you have a main door that falls in east in 2005 you would also be advised to hang a Ba Gua mirror outside to deflect the negative energy.

If this is your front door, the use of this sector on a daily basis will inevitably activate its negative effects. On the other hand, if this is your storeroom or bathroom, this sector can be quite harmless. This star affects the health of those under its influence bringing with it sickness, disease, bad luck, stress and distress.

The 2 Black in Period 8 is an untimely star and hence its influence will be of a negative nature. Its malevolent influence can be felt most in March, May and December. Take extra effort with health during those months and if your bedroom falls in this area place a brass Wu-Lou beside your bed. You will need to follow this advice carefully if this is an important room like a bedroom or lounge etc.

Ladies expecting their first born should try and avoid using this bedroom. If there is no choice, try to use a good (south, north or west) sector of the room and implement the necessary cures. They should also sleep with their crown to their personal Tien Yi direction.

If you cannot avoid using this room or this corner of the room, hang a wooden Wu-Lou, in the east corner of the room or your bed. The wooden Wu-Lou (also known as a calabash) (see picture) gives elemental support to the east and also symbolises good health.

More importantly, do not decorate the east room with red colour or triangle shapes items and most important avoid burning candles or leaving bright fiery coloured lights on for too long during the year.

Remember, this is also the location of the Three Killings making this an even more inauspicious location. If you really have to renovate or refurbish the east room, avoid engaging such activities especially in March May, September, December and January 2005.

Avoidance of this area is the best cure although I know this is hard so try and follow the advice and try and keep it as quiet as possible.

Remedies

  • Hang six Chinese coins tied in red ribbon especially if your main door is here. · Place a salt water cure
  • Place a Wu Lou and/or other metal ornaments to dissipate the negative earth.
  • Hang a wooden Wu-Lou in the east corner of the room/bed if your bedroom is located in the east sector of the house.
  • If this is your main door hang a Ba Gua outside the property.
  • Avoid using red colour in this room and refrain from displaying triangle shape or fiery pictures in this corner of the east room.

Chen 3 Jade In 2005, the sound of the Protracted Wind of the 3 Jade can be heard in the southeast.

In reality, Chen represents movement. Whether this is a home or office, beware of possible theft and burglary if your front is here. Take extra security measures for the year.

Some books you may have read will tell you the #3 wood star is a good star in period 8 in out opinion it is a volatile star and you should not try and activate it unless you are qualified to do so, it will become more usable towards the later part of the 20 year period 8 cycle. I have even seen websites and books recommending placing water here, do this and you will invite arguments, divorce and legal problems without taking into account your land formations, period, mountain and water stars, please be careful.

Ensure that documents signed during the year are checked through thoroughly before committing oneself. The influence of a Chen 3 in Period 8 denotes possible arguments, disagreement and in extreme cases, this can result in law suits, either as a petitioner or a defendant. Either case there will be a loss of time, energy and wealth.

In temper, there may be burst of irritability affecting those under this influence. If your office or bedroom is here, short temper and antagonistic are common characteristics in those affected by the 3.

Tempers will flare particularly in the months of April, May, June, October and January 2005. Beware of these possible moments and try to handle situations with a calm and cool attitude. Avoid office politics whenever possible.

Summary for year:

Good months are August and October.

Tempers will flare particularly in the months of April, May, June, October and January 2005.

To calm interactions:

Place a light in this corner of the room. If you have a choice, a lamp with a wooden stand and a peach shade is better.

Do not hang wind chimes in this corner of the house, especially metal wind chimes or may worsen matters.

During hot summer months, make sure the fan is not located in this corner of the room.

Take extra security measures if front door is here.

Check through everything before signing documents if office is here.

Try and keep this area quiet and do not disturb with loud noises.

Beware of back stabbing as sometimes it is unseen behind your back.

Avoid placing heavy metal ornaments here as this will aggravate the wood star, a traditional cure is to place a red Dragon here but make sure he is not made of metal.

From February 4th 2004 – 2024 the east will be the Secondary Wealth area for the 20 years in Period 8 and it requires water in the outside to be activated.

Sun 4 Green In 2005, Sun 4 Green sits in the central grid of the Lo Shu square.

The wood 4 occupies the earth centre palace of Period 8. When wood dominates earth, there may be discord and instability.

People under this influence may become selfish with no consideration for others. When under this influence, the person may feel stuck and stagnant thus creating stress particularly in relationships.

There will be no cause for concern if you do not have a central room in the middle of your house. There are also no concerns if this room happens to be a store, utility or a bathroom. All you need to do is to keep the door closed at all times.

Children may find studying hard if their study or bedroom is in the centre room of the house. Symbols like a crystal globe placed on their work table can aid studies. A task light turned on when they work will also enhance concentration and focus.

Remember that when a #4 Green is accompanied by benevolent stars it can effect beneficial influences and this is especially true in the months of April, September, October and January 2005. During these months, those in the writing and creative fields and industry can benefit from its influence. There may also be romance, who knows.

If your bedroom or study is here, use blue in your décor to enhance the wood 4. Do not use real water or water scenery. Colours will do.

Summary for year:

Good months are April, September, October and January 2005. Do not enhance with real water.

Cures and enhancers:

  • Use blue in your décor if this is your office or bedroom.
  • For office and studies, place a task light and a crystal globe on the work desks. Blue items can be added to the desk e.g. blue paper, blue books etc…
  • Avoid displaying too much metal objects here especially large heavy ones.
  • Fresh flowers or small pots of green leafy or flowering plants can be displayed in this spot of the house to lift the qi. Blue or red flowers are good choices. Avoid white or yellow ones.
  • If you have mandarin Ducks this is a good area to have them and any other symbols of romance like hugging couples etc.

The 5 Yellow In 2005, the annual 5 Yellow is located in the northwest palace.

Although tamed by the metal of the northwest, it is highly recommended not to disturb its position here with noisy activities, renovations or maintenance work. Houses with gardens to this corner of the property should avoid disturbing the ground with major digging or building work.

The 5 Yellow also called ‘Wu Huang’ in Chinese, is one of the three annual afflictions. It is a volatile star. It has no gender and no trigram and is highly dangerous when disturbed. When disturbed, its malevolent influence brings disaster, sickness, lawsuits and major loss of wealth. Do be careful with it. Stillness coupled with metal cure can keep its negative influences at bay.

To negate this influence, hang a six rods metal wind chime, six Chinese coins tied in a row with red ribbon and a salt water cure in the northwest corner of the home or office.

Metal can used to negate the earth element of the 5 Yellow. Metal objects are good elemental cures. In shape it is round. In colours it is grey, white, gold, brass, bronze or silver.

If your main door is here, place or hang some metal objects just inside the door. For example, metal umbrella stands, round metal plates hung on wall, grey floor mat etc…

Summary for year:

This is where the annual #5 yellow sits for the year. Be very careful not to disturb this sector (NW) with noisy renovations or digging especially during the months of February, April, June, August, September and November.

You should place a salt water cure, Wu Lou and six Chinese coins tied with red ribbon and also place more metal decorative objects (provided they are not menacing looking, round shape metal is good) to dissipate its negative influence. What you must not do is place red objects, bright lights or red coloured furnishing in this sector. Make sure there are no red items, bright lights or burning candles in this area. Do not worry if you have these colours already just introduce colours white, silver, gold or copper in the way of a floor mat, cushions, throws, tablecloth or such like. If your bathroom, cloakroom, en-suite, guest room or a large cupboard is located here, this is good for you this year, because these areas are not used much and therefore the negative power is not activated.

If this is an important room e.g. a bedroom or a living room, and if you cannot move to another room to avoid the 5 Yellow, carefully follow the advice contained here.

To calm interactions:

  • Avoid playing loud music in the NW of the home or room.
  • Do not decorate your room with red or earth colours this year. Grey or white beddings and curtains are good colours to use temporarily.
  • Place a salt water cure in the northwest corner of the room as well as the NW of the home.
  • Move your bed to another corner of the room if possible even if it is a few feet away from the northwest corner if this is a small room. This way, you will avoid sleeping exactly in the northwest sector of the room.
  • Place a Brass Wu-Lou in the northwest corner of the room if this is your bedroom.
  • Metal objects such as six Chinese metal coins tied in a red ribbon and/or a brass Dragon can be placed in this corner too. Try not to use red dragons.
  • What you must not do is place red objects, burning candles or triangular shaped furnishing in this sector.
  • Most of all, avoid disturbing this area at all costs. Any form of renovations that needs to be done, plan it for another year. It is worth keeping this in mind.
  • Tsai Shen Yeh (God of wealth) in a gold colour is very effective at not only reducing the bad earth but by also protecting your wealth for the year in the NW.

Ch’ien 6 White The star of Heaven Chien 6 White sits in the west palace in 2005.

6 White is a benevolent star and as an annual star, its position in the west in Period 8 is excellent for career and wealth but can also cause jealousy, rivalry and rebellion. Beware of the over excess of metal in this palace which may bring illness to the lungs or head region especially in the months of July and October.

In 2005, those occupying this sector of the office or offices with a front door to this sector will enjoy excellent business and career success. However, whilst 6 White represents attainment, headaches are also prevalent. Success may be evident for those under this influence but they may also experience depression and loneliness. The philosophy of a Taoist thought is moderation. Do not neglect your loved ones at home or close friends in your pursuit of success.

If this is also your bedroom, there may unnecessary arguments due to tension and jealousy especially in May and August. Pay equal attention to your loved ones at home as you would to your work or career. At work, there may be rivalry.

If this is a child’s bedroom, they may feel the need to push boundaries, be firm but with patience and use shades of blue to calm interactions.

Summary for year:

Good months are February, April, November and January 2005. Take extra health care in the months of July, June and October.

Remedy:

  • If this is your bedroom, a shade of blue or black in your furnishing or décor may help bridge tension and difference. A blue painting (not water scene) may also do.
  • If this is your office, hang a picture of a non moving water scene or a blue painting.
  • The perfect remedy is to stay away from this sector if constant headaches or depression are experienced by moving your desk away from this corner of the room and place some blue items around you.
  • Avoid placing additional metal objects in this sector or room, however, a very good symbolic enhancer is a gold coloured wealth ingot (picture above) as it will enhance the wealth nature of the trigram Chi’en. Try and get one that is not made of metal though and just metal coloured like the ones we do in our 2005 annual cures kit.
  • An urn of still water (change this water every two days) placed in the west corner of the room can also do the trick if you suffer from headaches or depression.
  • Above all, remember to take rests from your busy schedule and spend quality time with your loved ones at home.

Tui 7 Red The Lofty Wind of Tui sweeps around the peaks of Gen in the northeast.

The 7 red star is a declining influence in Period 8. The trigram Tui is also know as ‘Broken Soldier‘. This is a fighting star. When combined with another untimely star, its negative nature denotes assault, violence and robbery.

#7 Red portends a high risk of burglary or robbery especially in the months of June, July, August and October. This will be particularly so if the combination of the facing and sitting stars of this sector suggest such a scenario.

Take extra security measures if you have a front, back or side door in the west sector. Make sure doors and windows are fastened securely before leaving the house alone. Do not display valuable items on the window sill which may attract the interests of passers-by.

The annual 7 red in the northeast also suggests high risks of fire to this sector of the property. If this is your kitchen, please take extra fire hazard precautions.

Be careful of robbery in the months of June, July, August and September. If you have doors or windows in this part of the home make sure they are secure. If this part of the home or office is a kitchen you must also be careful of fires so make sure smoke alarms are fitted and batteries tested regularly.

If this is your office, beware of unscrupulous people working against you especially during the months of April, June, July, August, October and January 2005.

There are circumstances that this star combination in the northeast could be favourable for some types of business but it unwise to activate without the knowledge of a trained traditional Practitioner.

Summary for year:

High risk of burglary or robbery especially in the months of June, July, August and October.

If this is your office, beware of unscrupulous people working against you especially during the months of April, June, July, August, October and January 2006.

Remedy:

  • You should also use more blue in your decoration. You can introduce the colour with cushions, bed covers or doormats.
  • Do not use anything of fire element or colours red to control it as this may aggravate it. · Do not hang metal wind chimes here.
  • Avoid having quartz crystals here

Ken 8 White This is the governing flying star for the next nineteen years of the lower era of the sexagenarian cycle of the flying stars system.

Wealth, prestige and distinction can be expected. It brings good fortune and exciting times. It also represents a strengthening of family values. If you work with symbols, quartz crystals, crystal balls or hanging faceted crystals are good for this south palace this year. The #8 star also governs relationships so a nice romance enhancer is a pair of rose quartz double hearts or a pair of Mandarin Ducks in the south this year.

Located in the south in 2005, it is benefiting from the element of the ‘Yuan Dan Pan’. Use this sector as often as possible.

Whilst wealth is forecasted, beware of bad months where health issues need some attending to. This is especially so during the months of February, March, November and December.

Parent of growing young males must pay due tolerance, patience and understanding to them for they may experience difficulties and crises during certain times of the year, namely February, April, November and January 2005.

Do not place metal here, as it will weaken the good earth. Great news if you have your main door here and if you are in an office try and locate your desk in south part of the office.

This is a very strong wealth are for 2005 so try and store your important financial papers here like pensions, stock portfolio etc. If you use symbolic cures this is where you should place your three legged Toad facing your Sheng Chi direction.

This is the governing flying star for the next twenty years of the lower era of the sexagenarian cycle of the flying stars system.

Summary for year.

Good months are April, May, June, July, August, October and January 2006.

Take extra care with health in the months of February, March, November and December

To enhance:

  • Hang a faceted crystal sphere in this area of the house near the window or door. Hang it above head height and twist now and again.
  • The energies of the annual 8 can be activated by human activities. Use this room as frequently as possible unless you have a professional advice against it.
  • The red three legged toad can be placed here. Make sure the toad is facing into the house and not towards the door and the coin is never taken out of his mouth.
  • If your bedroom is here, you can also place an amethyst or any crystal items in the south of the bedroom to further strengthen the earth element of the benevolent 8 white.
  • This is also a good study area for children. Place a task light and a crystal globe on the desk to enhance concentration.
  • A romance enhancer is a pair of rose quartz Mandarin Ducks in the south this year.
  • Keep area active with noise and open doors and windows

Li 9 Purple There is a harmony of yin and yang when Li 9 Purple is found in the north in Period 8.

9 Purple is the star of future wealth and has an auspicious influence in Period 8. Career opportunities and promotions are possible at the right months. There is fame and acknowledgement, growth and improvement. This influence can be said particularly for the months of February, May, June, July and November.

As in every star, there is always a positive and a negative side to them. When it is afflicted by a negative star, occupants may experience its negative influences.

This is a good area in general especially for those in studies. If this is a family area (living, dining or a library), encourage children to study here.

Couples with bedroom to this location will also enjoy good relationships. There may also be a chance of producing intelligent children but be aware of the negative influences during the months of April, October and January 2005.

Although deemed as an auspicious star, the element of the annual #9 star in the north can strengthen the malevolent effects of visiting monthly stars #2 and #5. Hang a coin sword on the wall here to weaken the undesirable influences of the monthly stars #2 and #5.

A coin sword can also wards off sha qi (external poison arrows) at the front door or windows. If there is incoming traffic or driveways pointed directly at your front door or window, apart from hanging a Ba Gua mirror to counter this destructive flow of qi, you can also hang a coin sword with its hilt facing the door or window.

Summary for year:

Good months are February, May, June, July and November.

Be aware of the negative influences during the months of April, October and January 2006.

To enhance:

  • Healthy green leafy plants or blue flowering plants such as violets are good for this area. · Fresh flowers displayed here will bring positive qi too.
  • Symbolic objects such as a gold abacus or six Chinese coins can be placed here all year round to enhance benevolent influence and at the same time dissipate the malevolent influence by the visiting monthly #2 and #5.
  • A coin sword hung with its hilt facing the front door or window in this sector can help ward off any external poison arrows as well as weaken the effects of visiting monthly stars #2 and #5.

Sword coins are one the oldest form and used thousands of years ago, they were hung on the cots or wall of new born babies to protect them from Thou-Tzu-Kuei the spirit of women who have died without children and have tried to steal infants. They can also be hung over cash till and by the front door pointing towards it, they are widely used in business.

2005 cures and enhancers

Water placement and 2005:

As we entered period 8 (4th February 2004) the use of water outside is critical up until 2024, so a pond outside in the correct area can really work in your favour. You must not unless advised by professional Practitioner place water in the north-east up until 2024.

Outside water: Can be placed in the south-west or east, this is your primary and secondary wealth areas for the next nineteen years.

Indoor water: It is not advisable this year 2005 to use flowing water inside unless you have had a professional consultation.

If you are using water outside you must make sure the water is clean and flowing and never allow it to become stagnant. Water is a very powerful enhancer and is the essence of Feng Shui (Shui meaning water) the Ch’i is caught by the water and cleansed (providing the water is clean) and distributed throughout your property. If you look on our resource pages you will find more detailed information on water placement for 2005 and beyond.

Whilst the methods above are considered safe, there are many exceptions to the placement of water and as Master Practitioners and teachers we use many more methods of water placement for wealth, education and relationship, these methods whilst extremely powerful can only be used with expert guidance and a full analysis of your property and land formations, please visit this link for more details of an on-line consultation or home/business visit.

“There are three ways to get something done. Do it yourself, hire someone to do it, or forbid your children to do it”

Salt water cure after 4 weeks.

Every year we receive thousands of e-mails saying how the salt water cure changed the energy in their home for the better; this is a very powerful and little known cure and one that we have been using for twenty years. You should use the salt water cure this year February 4th 2005 in the northwest & east (DO NOT REUSE LAST YEARS SALT WATER CURES IF IT IS MORE THAN TWO MONTHS OLD), if you have a bathroom, utility or cloakroom here you may not need one as long as you always keep these doors closed.

There are many exceptions to be made, the thing to remember with flying stars is if you have a 5 yellow in dining room and if it is open plan home the 5 yellow’s power can drift into any other part of the home, think of perfume, if you sprayed some in your bedroom your partner may still be able to smell it downstairs because the smell goes into the air (Ch’i) and drifts around the home, so as general advice it is better to cure than leave to chance.

How to dispose of your old salt water cure?

You should change your salt water cure every year or if it is over two months old, why? Because they store an enormous amount of negative energy and moving it causes problems in all parts of a building. The best way is to get a Tupperware type container (margarine tub etc) and place the entire contents salt, water, glass and coins into it, close and seal the lid and throw straight into an outside bin. If you do not have a container pour the water down an outside drain (one at the back of house that leads away from the building) and place the salt/glass and coins into a plastic bag and place in bin. Please do not try and recycle, it is not worth it, this is the main reason we sell ours so cheap to make sure people can easily and cheaply renew them, last year I saw a few websites selling these for 4-5 times as much as us. As with all our products they are cleansed of all negative energy and empowered with positive energy and the coins also come from a good dynasty making them even more effective.
