Reusing your Feng Shui Cures and Enhancers

Every year, during the upcoming months to February, we are faced with some very critical changes in our life where the Annual Flying Stars all change around and we must analyse where in our home and workplace will be home to the fortunate and unfortunate Flying Stars for the next twelve months. As anyone who follows Feng Shui will know, we need to place appropriate Cures and Enhancers for the year to compliment and weaken the effects of the Flying Stars, both good and bad.
When working out where to position your Cures and Enhancers, a lot of people wonder whether they should reuse their Cures or simply get rid of them and start all over again. From a business point of view, I should say that you should purchase new Cures and Enhancers every year and never re-use them and I see a lot of Feng Shui retailers saying that this is the case, although I am a strong believer in Karmic law and honest advice which is why I recommend you reuse the majority of your Cures.
Not all Cures can be re-used such as Salt Water Cures, Six Chinese I-Ching Coins in a row, Sheng Chi Cures, Master Cures and pocket enhancers although the majority of Cures can be reused for many years if they are cleansed properly and can work very hard to protect and enhance yourself, your work friends and your family.
At the end of every Chinese Lunar year, your Cures and Enhancers will have worked very hard to protect your home and office which will mean that your Cures will have absorbed a great deal of negative energy and will need to be cleansed to remove all of the negative energy and renew the strength of your Cures and Enhancers. Repositioning Cures and Enhancers without cleansing them is not a good thing to practise; you would not replace a hoover bag with another full one as this would have no effect and your Cures have the same principle.
How do I cleanse my Cures and Enhancers?
To cleanse your Cures and Enhancers, ideally, you should place outside under a full moon overnight or in direct sunlight for at least 4 hours and sprinkle with rock or normal salt. Make sure you rinse underwater (don’t forget to dry them) in the morning and you should place them in the appropriate areas as detailed below. This does not apply to the salt water cure, as these MUST be renewed every year without exception and must never be reused. As with all our products including the annual cures kits, they are all cleansed of negative energy and empowered with positive Sheng Ch’i energy, which makes them so much more effective.

My Pi Yao has a chip on it; should I re-use it?
We have a lot of people message us saying that their Cures and Enhancers have been chipped or broken and ask if they can carry on using them or cleanse and re-use them. The simple answer is no. When you break or chip a Cure, all of the negative energy in the Cure is disturbed and must be replaced. Chipped and broken Cures can have a harmful effect as the Cure is not seen as complete; take for example the Ba Gua Mirror, once the mirror is cracked or the wood is tarnished, you know its time to replace the Cure.
Cleansing your Cures with salt water Salt Water is made from a handful of natural salt and a bowl of tap water. The best thing to do is grind the salt up to a very fine powder so it all dissolves in the clean water although you can also rub salt all over the item to be cleaned but please be careful with polished Cures. After cleaning your Cures and Enhancers, wipe them with a cloth and leave them out in the sun or moon (full moon is optimal).
When you cleanse your Cures and Enhancers, you rid them of all of the negative energy that they have absorbed in your home and office over their time being placed.
Every Chinese New Year, there are certain Cures and Enhancers that must be placed for that year alone and when we come to dispose of the Cure, we are left with two options; the safest idea is to carefully place the old Cure in a container and dispose of it away from the home although the more traditional method is to bury them in your ground which is not as common these days.
We only sell traditional and authentic Feng Shui Cures that in our opinion get results; we do not sell gimmicky Mc’feng Shui cures or any other products that fall in line with a lot of pop up Feng Shui shops get rich quick schemes. Hello Daniel,
I have another question if I may, this time about remedies/ cures that can be used to counteract 3 weeks of renovations starting on the 5th of February. We are repairing our windows in the South East, South, West, North West and North East and we can’t change the dates. Is there anything we can do to minimise the risks associated with carrying out the works?

My parents had all of their upstairs windows replaced recently and didn’t see any issues from this as it is generally not very noisy work.

Hello,
I am not quite sure that I understand completely the salt water cleansing process. Do you wash the cures in the salt water and then rinse them with normal water or just dry them with a cloth and then place in the sun or under full moon, and what happens if the sky is cloudy during the full moon and there is no moon light?
And finally can you rub salt or wash with salty waters cures that are made of metal? I tried that once and all the metal objects got tarnished.

You shpuld rinse them off with fresh water before drying as they can tarnish any metal or fabrics.
As long as they are exposed to the outside air, this will help to cleanse any energy attached to them.

Yes, these can be reused in 2024. I would recommend cleansing them by either washing them down and leaving them outside under moonlight (ideally) or daylight for several hours. You can also smudge the cures with sage in a small room if you prefer.

Are laughing buddha figurines and the like considered cures too? Should I change it every year? I have one that I kept for years for protection, and not intentionally used for annual flying stars. Thank you for answering

Buddha’s have been used as cures for many years and work really well to enhance or weaken the Flying stars. These can be used for the fixed, annual, and monthly stars.

Hi , l do place sea salt in a tempered glass bowl in toilets and bathroom to get rid of all the negativity and after a week I am reusing same sea salt to clean the floor to get rid of negative energy. Now I’m confused. Shall I reuse that salt again to mop the floor or shall I use fresh sea salt to mop the floor? Can you help me please.

Personally, I would never reuse salt at all as it absorbs negative energy and using it again just spreads it further.

Our bedroom is in the West, office in the East and living room in the center of our home. In other words we can’t avoid spending extended periods of time in the afflicted areas in 2022. Plus we’re a Monkey and a Tiger. What can we do for protection and a better New Year than all the predictions seem to indicate?

As long as you place the appropriate cures and enhancers in these areas and try to keep noise levels low when possible, this should avoid issues.

Every August I make a trip to the Atlantic ocean and gather fresh ocean salt water for various purposes. I gather water that is as clear and clean as possible then strain as many impurities as possible out of it before using it. I’ve never used it to cleanse my cures from previous years, though. Is it good or bad to cleanse feng shui cures with clear, clean, filtered ocean salt water?

The majority of cures can be cleansed and reused although I would recommend replacing the salt cures as these are not safe to move around, especially if they have crystalised a lot. If your situation was happy in the last home, you should fine to reuse the six coins in a row although if you went through bad times in the last home, I would replace these just to be safe as they are used to weaken two bad stars.
