There is a very simple and effective way to remove all negative energy and empower your items with positive energy. When cleansing your cures and enhancers from previous years to use in 2020, there really is no substitute to a good strong full moon. Make sure you follow the Lunar calendar below so you can prepare to cleanse your Feng Shui items.

Cleansing your products is actually very simple. All you need to do is follow these easy steps.

At the Feng Shui Store, we believe we are the only company to offer all our products cleansed and cleared of any negative energy. We would love to say that all the products we sell are made in the most harmonious conditions, free from any bad thoughts and negative energy. Unfortunately, we know this is not true, you could have an employee making a three-legged toad or a crystal sphere and on that day they could be thinking about his/her debt or matrimonial problems, this bad energy would be transferred into the item they were working on and then passed onto you.

So we believe these Feng Shui items that have an amazing power can actually have an adverse effect if not cleansed of all harmful energy. We cleanse every single item that leaves our store. The way we cleanse our products is extremely important as most people believe you should just cleanse by getting rid of the negative energy, wrong, we firstly cleanse with Cedar powder smudge to clear the object of all its lingering negative energy and then we use White Sage smudge to enhance and bring in the positive energy. Finally, at the point of packing your items, we use a liquid smudge on our hands to ensure any bad energy we may have on that particular day is not passed onto you.

And this means that every item you purchase from us will be:

  • Completely cleared of negative energy.
  • Positively empowered with positive energy.
  • And even cleansed at the very last stage of packing, our hands are cleansed with a liquid smudge whilst packing your items to ensure any bad energy we may be harbouring is not passed on; I hate to say that even we have bad days, not many.

Gather all of your Feng Shui related items (that appear to be washable) and fill a bowl of luke-warm water with some household soap

  • Use a soft brush to scrub any dirt or dust off of your products
  • Sprinkle the cures with rock salt (be careful with Cures that may get damaged from the salt)
  • Leave outside during a full moon to remove all negative energy and empower every item with strong positive energy from the light of the moon for a full evening and put all products back in place the following day.

To find out the best time for you to cleanse your Feng Shui products, please take a look at the moon calendar below.

CURRENT MOON

The phases of the moon are caused by the relative positions of the earth, sun, and moon. The moon goes around the earth in 27.3 days, or 27 days 7 hours 43 minutes, on average. However, because of the earth’s motion around the sun, a complete moon cycle (New Moon to New Moon) appears to people on earth to take a couple of days longer: 29.5305882 days to be exact.

  1. How can I store my cures until there is appropriate time or conditions (sun/moon/salt) for their cleansing?

    Thanks.

    1. Hi V Clark,

The best place to store cures that are not currently in use is inside of a box or case in a cupboard, loft, garage or outbuilding.

      I hope this helps.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  2. hi, i have a turtle aquarium which I positioned it in SW last year 2020. I would like to know if putting this on West this 2021 is a good idea. the house front door is in SW.

    Thank you
    Sky

    1. Hi Sky,

It is hard to advise on water placement without having done a full consultation although, with regards to the 2021 Flying stars, this is the best location for the year.

      I hope this helps.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  3. I am in the same situation as last year, that I’m ordering too late. I can cleanse all my cures but not with the right moon but I won’t be able to put up all the cures until the 3/2. I will do so anyway believing it is the intention as well but am wondering whether the cures will be diminished. Thank you!

    1. Hi Eva,

It is definitely the intention also and the cures can still be cleansed if they are not under a full moon 🙂

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  4. Can we use the moon at anytime? Can we cleanse crystals when it’s a waning moon or full or new Moo ? I would think the moon is glorious and giving energy all the time. Or am I wrong?

    1. Hi Gabriela,

It is best to cleanse cures under a full moon as this will be the most effective although you can cleanse cures at any stage of the cycle of the moon.

      I hope this helps.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  5. hello,
I have moved houses and am now in my new place. i have new and cleansed fengshui cures and items from the previous place. would i need to cleanse them again before placing it?

    1. Hi Benjamin,

If you have already cleansed your cures and enhancers recently, you would not need to cleanse them again although it definitely wouldn’t hurt.

If they were last cleansed a few months ago, I would recommend doing so before placing them in your new home.

      I hope this helps.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  6. Hi! Just want to seek advise on how to properly recharge and cleanse my green agate bracelet with golden piyao. I both it online a few days ago, but i’m not sure if this was charged or cleansed for positivity. Out of excitement, upon receipt from the courier I directly used it upon opening. Now I’m in doubt if the feng shui bracelet can achieve its purpose.
Please help so that I can assure myself that my piyao is on its original purpose of giving goodluck

    1. Hi Remaline,

I would recommend following the advice on this page and cleanse the bracelet in salt water and leave it out overnight to cleanse it of any negative energy.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  7. Hi I’m just wondering if the postal guy is having a negative energy that day and he touched the package will it give negative energy to the package as well?

    1. Hi,

This shouldn’t be a problem as it is only handled for one or two minutes. We cleanse our cures before sending them out and there is usually very little interaction with humans between being sent out by us to the cures reaching your home 🙂

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

    1. Hi Gary,

This will be fine to sleep with your bracelet on. I would take it off from time to time to clean it or air your wrist.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  8. Hi,

I wiped my cures using a cloth washed in water with salt and have placed some of them in relevant areas at night of Feb 4 and Feb 5? is it correct?

  9. Hello again! I have just read that cleansing should not be done at night. Is this true? If so, what if doing so at night (possibly VERY late afternoon) is the only option? TY again!!! Blessings

  10. What if there is no safe place to leave items outside in the moonlight? Would inside on a windowsill work & what if the moon doesn’t hit the windowsill directly? Also, how long in the moonlight? Would just cleansing with moon water work? TY SO MUCH for all you do & share!! Blessings

    1. Hi Mellanie,

If there is nowhere safe outside, I would place the cures on a windowsill overnight. For good measure, I would leave these up until the next afternoon so that the sunlight cleanses them as well.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

    1. Hi Bre-elle,

I would avoid cleansing cures under an eclipse as the moon is slightly tainted.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  11. I washed my lucky pi yao bracelet many times in a hot/boiling water with rock salt on it because someone told that wearing it while taking a bath won’t give me good luck anymore. Was it the proper way of cleansing it so it could go back to its original purpose of giving good luck?

    1. Hi Glinkelle,

You do not need to use boiling water as this could remove the colouring. If you leave the bracelet outside overnight in the moonlight, this will also recharge the energy.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

    1. Hi,

If you are able to, I would suggest cleansing cures under a full moon although this can also be done under normal moonlight or sunlight if you are unable to do it in the evening.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  12. Hi There

On what date is it the best time for me to cleanse my gold Pi Yao in preparation for 2019 Chinese New Year?

    1. Hi Nicole,

I would remove the Pi Yao on the 3rd and cleanse it overnight to be placed on the 4th of February.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

    1. Hi Benjamin,

I would remove the cures on the 3rd of February and replace them on the 4th.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel

  13. I don’t know where to find rock salt in Mexico, I already tried my local supermarkets. Can I use Sea Salt instead to do the cleansing?

  14. Some of my metal cures have been damaged with salt when cleansing ie they have a white coating on the metal. Can I still use them or do I have to replace them? Also for future reference should metal objects just remain out in a full moon without the cleansing rock salt?

    1. Hi Ann,

I would try brushing them off with a toothbrush if you can or wash them with warm soapy water while applying care in delicate areas as they should come off. Once you’ve got the salt off, you can place them in their relevant areas.

In future, I would try using less salt if you have used a lot or wash them with water rather than using salt.

      Kind regards,
      Daniel
