What do we do with this information?
In every house, there are good and bad palaces which affect our daily lives. How and who gets affected (good or bad) depends on who occupies which area of the home or business. The best Cure is to be aware of the influences each month and know how to capitalise on the beneficial energies or avoid the unfavourable influences either through enhancers or cures or avoidance. Knowing the effects of the influences allows us to take appropriate measures and actions to calm interactions. So, do not get too worried when you come across a particularly bad sector – sometimes with thought, care and the appropriate elements, we can balance any conflict of energies or compensate the lack of an element to bring harmony to a palace. If a palace is particularly bad, avoidance is the best cure.
Please do not panic when you find that your bedroom is located in an affected sector for the month. This is only a temporary influence and can be avoided.
- Use the beneficial areas more and the areas of negative influences less. For example, if the living room is affected by conflicting energies, try not to play loud music in this room for the month. By keeping the area quiet, you successfully manipulate the effect of the energies.
- If possible, use another door if your main door is affected this month.
- Use the good sectors to solve existing problems whether they concern relationships or money matters.
If your main door is affected and this is the only door you have in your property, you should take extra care in what you do during the affected month. You will know it may not be a good time to take risks and also to take extra care of your health.
Many may have their annual cures in place to ensure a smooth year ahead, if not please follow this link for more details. The annual cures can be placed at any time of the year up until February 2014.
Xuan Kong Flying Stars October 2013:
From October 8th to October 6th 2013 is the month of Ren Xu (Yang Water Dog), the ninth month of the Gui Si year (Yang Water Snake year) with the ruling energy of #5 Yellow in the central grid.
Northeast and North – Offices with doors opening to the north east or north may find their business goes up a beat this month. The energies denote great business opportunities so make hay whilst the sun shines. There is no need to enhance the sectors. If you happen to occupy an office in either of these two sectors in your office or at home, stride ahead with your plans and ventures. Keep a task light on your desk for better concentration.
These two locations are also good for studies. Students undergoing exams should take advantage of the influences of these areas. Make sure that they face one of their good directions when seated at the desk. A task light on the desk will help to keep them focus with the tasks at hand. If you have a crystal globe this is a great place to have this month. These two areas this month will benefit from quartz or glass crystals. Try and store important papers here this month but make sure you check back next month on where you should move them to.
For those who likes to work with symbolic objects, you can place your three legged toad in northeast or north corner of the office /study but make sure that it faces into the room and not outwards.
East – East is a good sector for those whose work requires a lot of travelling. Use this sector well if travelling is the means of bringing business in. A good sector for artists on tours or those working in tour related fields.
Sectors to be aware of this month:
Southeast – Couples occupying this sector of their home may find their relationships suddenly under stress for no rhyme or reason. Problems could be caused by in-laws and this is especially true for those whose in-laws live under the same roof. The best cure is to avoid direct confrontation. Remember, this is only a monthly influence and it will pass.
South – The combination of energy in the south can cause bad temper bringing disputes and disagreement. There is also the danger of fire. Precautions are the best remedy. Install smoke alarms if there is none especially in the kitchen. Ensure that the hobs and gas cookers are turned off completely after use. Do not leave lit candles unattended particularly in the bedroom.
Anyone and particularly elderly people with a weak heart should try and avoid this palace. If this is not possible, use blue in the room’s furnishing e.g. beddings, doormats or rugs. Place some blue items on your work desks if your office is in this palace. Do not get drawn into any heated disagreement. What needs to be said can be said when tempers have cooled. Red colours, or any ornamental objects that are sharp or triangular in shape are best avoided in this palace.
You can place some earthen objects, e.g. a round clear or quartz crystal, a boulder, or some terracotta pots in the south of the room to calm the fiery combination of this month.
Southwest – Offices located here may encounter obstacles in endeavours or in any ventures undertaken. A metal cure is needed, for instance, six Chinese coins placed in the southwest corner of the room. If this is your bedroom, place a pair of golden Wu Lou by your bedside.
West – Beware of health issues if you occupy a west room in the office or home. Mouth ulcers may flare up or you may find a weakening of internal energy that slows your work down. Remember to drink lots of water.
Make sure that there are no external ‘poison arrows’ in this location of the property or building as this malevolent configuration can aggravate the situation further. If external ‘poison arrows’ are found in this location, you can hang a Ba Gua mirror outside of this location to deflect the Sha qi.
Do not hang a wind chime here or you will be followed by a host of arguments, disputes and, at worst, law suits. If you have a wind chime here already, I would suggest taking it down for the month. Place some blue items (e.g. a vase) on your desk or use blue or wavy pattern beddings on your bed.
Northwest – The influence this month can cause relationships issues. If this is a bedroom, use blue furnishings to calm interaction. If this is an office, you can place a small water plant in the northwest corner of the office to balance the elements.
I hope you all enjoyed reading and enjoy a very good October 2013.
