What do we do with this information?

In every house, there are good and bad palaces which affect our daily lives. How and who gets affected (good or bad) depends on who occupies which area of the home or business. The best Cure is to be aware of the influences each month and know how to capitalise on the beneficial energies or avoid the unfavourable influences either through enhancers or cures or avoidance. Knowing the effects of the influences allows us to take appropriate measures and actions to calm interactions. So, do not get too worried when you come across a particularly bad sector – sometimes with thought, care and the appropriate elements, we can balance any conflict of energies or compensate the lack of an element to bring harmony to a palace. If a palace is particularly bad, avoidance is the best cure.

Please do not panic when you find that your bedroom is located in an affected sector for the month. This is only a temporary influence and can be avoided.

  • Use the beneficial areas more and the areas of negative influences less. For example, if the living room is affected by conflicting energies, try not to play loud music in this room for the month. By keeping the area quiet, you successfully manipulate the effect of the energies.
  • If possible, use another door if your main door is affected this month.
  • Use the good sectors to solve existing problems whether they concern relationships or money matters.

If your main door is affected and this is the only door you have in your property, you should take extra care in what you do during the affected month. You will know it may not be a good time to take risks and also to take extra care of your health.

Xuan Kong Flying Stars January 2014:

From January 5th to 3rd February 2014 is the month of Yi Chou (Yin Wood Ox), the twelth  and final month of the Gui Si year (Yin Water Snake year) with the ruling energy of #9 Purple in the central grid.

Beneficial sectors for January 2014

Good Flying Stars

Northwest – This palace is exceptionally good for academic pursuits making this an ideal study area for those preparing for exams. Possible promotions, joint ventures or new business plans may also appear when least expected if you are under this influence. Whilst the wealth aspect is promising, health may be compromised. Do pay good attention to your health no matter how busy you are. Health problems such as headaches and constipation are common. A normal cause of headaches and tiredness is dehydration. Working constantly in front of a computer without periodical rest can cause migraines.

South – A good sector for couples as it is favourable for building relationships. Marriage may also be a possibility when under the romantic influence of this month. This is also a good sector for those studying and preparing for exams. Those occupying the south bedroom may also find fame and recognition in their work this month. However, elderly people occupying this south room should place something blue, for example a throw over or a rug, in the south corner of the bedroom.

Southeast – Success is expected this month for those occupying this sector of the house/building or office and this is especially true if you are in the creative field e.g. writers, architects, designers etc. Offices with a main door in this sector can see an upturn in business this month. If your office or study is in this sector of the house or office, the influence of the sector may propel your ideas into reality. This is the month to work hard and translate ideas into proposals in order to take best advantage of this wonderful influence which should lead to future success. Romance is also dominant in this sector and so for those who occupy a bedroom in this corner of the house and are single, enjoy.

Sectors to be aware of this month:

Bad Flying Stars

West – Health related issues such as coughs, sore throats and lung problems may crop up. If this is where you spend most of your time, you may experience a feeling of lowness like being dragged down. Place six Chinese coins in a row tied with red ribbon along with a Wu-Lou by the bedside if this is your bedroom or study. If starting a family is one’s objectives, avoid using this bedroom as it is not conducive to conception. Pregnant ladies should also be careful with this combination of qi. The south or southeast is a better room. If you cannot move bedroom, try to sleep to your Tien Yi or Yan Nien direction.

If your kitchen is in this sector of the property, take extra care when preparing hot food or handling hot equipment. Possible fire hazards are possible in this sector of the house. If you spend a considerable amount of time in the kitchen, you must be aware of the possibility of being burnt or scalded. Cook or work with care and do not rush.

Northeast – Children with a bedroom or study here may experience difficulties at school. Those occupying a bedroom here may also experience ailments such as back pains and sinus problems. Place something red (e.g. a red lamp, a rose quartz crystal or a red rug) in this room to calm interaction.

North – Do not disturb the ground in the north part of your garden this month or conduct any noisy renovation in the north sector of the house or office. The negative aspects of the visiting monthly #5 Yellow can bring obstacles in business or at work as well as illnesses affecting the ears, kidneys and inflammation of the bladder. If you already have metal enhancers for the annual 1 in the north palace, this would be the appropriate cure for the visiting 5 Yellow. If you have not, I would suggest placing some metal decorative objects (nothing triangular in shape, sharp or menacing looking) in the north corner of the room.

Have extra patience when projects or ideas take longer to materialise than you expect owing to the obstacles placed in our way by the monthly #5 Yellow. If you have a crucial project or critical meetings, do not use the North sector of your office this month. If this is your office, place some metal objects (e.g. metal paper weight, metal abacus, metal tortoise, golden dragon) in the north corner of your desk.

Children occupying a bedroom in this palace may suffer ear infections due to colds. Pregnant ladies should avoid this north room for the month and metal cures are recommended for this sector. You can place a golden Wu-Lou or hang a Chinese six coins in the north corner of the room.

Southwest – This is another illness sector for the month. If this is a frequently used room, occupants may feel feverish with headaches or fall ill easily with stomach flu or virus. If this is your office you may experience a sense of not being appreciated or due credit not being accorded to you.

East – When travelling, especially if this is your front door, keep your belongings, briefcase, handbags etc close to your side as the influence indicates potential money loss through theft.

For office units located in this sector of the building, keep an eye on your business accounts or financial dealings with others as the month’s influence indicates possible embezzlement and fraud. This is especially so if your business is also located in the east sector of the building. Spend extra time in reviewing important documents before signing them as money can be lost through lawsuits and betrayal.

If your bedroom is in this sector of the house, take extra care on the road. Accidental injuries are likely. If your work is labour intensive or hazardous, follow safety procedure to the letter as carelessness can be the cause of injury. Use blue bed furnishing or place something blue in the east sector your room or house to calm interaction.

I hope you all enjoyed reading and have had a fantastic Christmas and New Year.
