The Twelve Earthly Branches in the month Yi Hai 10th Lunar Month November 7th 2004 to December 6th By Sallie Tsui Sien This is only a general perspective guide for the twelve earthly branches of the Chinese almanac for November 2004 (Yin Wood Pig month). In this, I have attempted to point out the factors that may affect you beneficially this month and also those of which you should beware according to your animal sign. The effect on individuals should be considered within the context of the monthly Flying Stars which you can find by clicking this link Please do not think that because, for example, you are a Tiger and you read below that November 2004 will not be good you will therefore have a bad month. No. A positive attitude and hard work combined with knowledge of what the month ahead has in store for you will enable you to avoid many problems and disappointments. If you follow our annual 2004 Flying Star (Xuan Kong) recommendations you will avoid bad luck even more because negative Flying Star avoidance alters your destiny in a positive way.
Rat
Ideal colours for the month are white and beige. For your protection, you should have a key chain pendant of an Ox with you at all times. Your lucky sector is the North (352.5º - 7.5º) of the home. The location of the south is in conflict with your earthly branch and therefore if there is a choice, avoid using this sector as your important room, e.g. bedroom or study/home office.
Ox

Hare/Rabbit
Ideal colours for the month are silver and red. For protection you should have a key chain pendant of a Dog with you at all times. Your lucky sector is the East (82.5º - 97.5º) of the home provided it does not house unfavourable time energies. The location of west (262.5º - 277.5º) is in conflict with your earthly branch and therefore, if there is a choice, avoid using this sector as your important room, e.g. bedroom or study/home office. If you cannot avoid this area, place fresh flowers in the east sector of the room and a Wu Lou in the west sector of the room.
Dragon
Ideal colours for the month are white and rose red.

Goat/Ram/Sheep

Monkey
Suitable colours for the month are gold and spring green. For protection you should have a key chain pendant of a Snake with you at all times. Do not renovate this sector of the home this year in the hope that you will be renewing the energy for the New Year as this is where Tai Sui sits and you would not want to incur his wrath by disturbing his position. An
improved star setting in the life palace should give improved luck this
month, especially for females. You may see these improvements more in
the wealth field than in relationships and health where the prospects
remain fairly poor. This is especially true to those whose front door;
bedroom or office is in the southwest sector. 
Despite
the clash of elements this month, females are looking at a very positive
month particularly in the work field where promotion and pay rises are
distinct possibilities provided that a positive and outward attitude at
work is maintained 
Under the influence of the Six combination, this is a truly tremendous
month for a Tiger. It will be a great month for business where good results
and success are in prospect. You may well find that your standing among
your peers rises considerably. Only one note of caution: do not lose sight
of the need to be charitable in your outlook to those around you. 
This
is the month of the favourable three combinations. You will find a helping
hand available when you need it. Prospects at work are good and your relationships
will also take a positive turn. Compared to recent months, this is a very
favourable month and without too much effort on your part, things will
go well naturally.
Overall
a positive month especially in money related fields. However, you may
find that not everyone is so pleased with your success so beware of backstabbers
and covert attacks on your reputation. 
A terrible clash of elements this month so it will be anything but peaceful.
You will be struggling at work and also have problems in your relationships.
Do not despair as if you avoid direct confrontation, all will be well.
The only course of action to take is to lie low and steer away from the
possibility of arguments especially at home. 
Despite
the appearance of being a good month, there are in fact hidden perils.
Be careful as to how you deal with compliments that come your way - some
of these will not be sincere. Equally, when you have a decision to take,
you should be careful to distinguish between what looks to be a good offer
and what really is.
As
this is the month of the pig, the indications are that this will be a
good month for the sheep. Nevertheless, loved ones at home do require
special attention and you should also be alert to the possibilities of
helping others at this time as you may need their help in future months
where the prospects are less favourable. 
The
clash of elements this month will make the realisation of projects very
problematical. You should therefore think carefully before embarking on
new projects. Despite this, the financial situation is encouraging although,
on the other hand, there are negative indications for health. So do look
after yourself. 
Provided that you are honest and straightforward with others, you will
find success in your endeavours. There will, however, be pressure at work
and so be careful not to fall ill through overwork. You may also find
that working so hard causes your social life to suffer and you end up
feeling rather lonely. Please try to get out a bit. 
Prospects
at work are improved although you will need to manage your time well to
maximise the possibilities. You should also be gracious in accepting offers
of help from others. On the home front, misunderstandings are indicated
so do be patient and if faced with an argument be prepared to give way.
If not, small arguments may become big ones.
This is not a great month for pig. You will be faced with various frustrations,
some of which are engineered by others. You must be patient or things
will only get worse. Do not despair, once you have got over the hump,
life will improve. On the social side, exercise caution and do not be
fooled by appearances.
